Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: As a teacher, I recommend this book to any serious student of physics. This review book is more comprehensive than others I have used. Though some of the questions might be challenging, they are great for AP preparation. Knowing how to solve the problems in this book will prepare you very well for the exam.
Rating: Summary: Great choice for a review book. Review: As a teacher, I recommend this book to any serious student of physics. This review book is more comprehensive than others I have used. Though some of the questions might be challenging, they are great for AP preparation. Knowing how to solve the problems in this book will prepare you very well for the exam.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Book Review: Halfway through my junior year I stopped using my textbook and began using this book. I lacked the foundation to be in AP Physics and I was struggling with the course. I read this book and jumped from the low end of my class to the absolute top. It got to the point where I began to daze off, not pay attention, get some shut eye, yet still nail the quizzes and tests. Each chapter is short and to the point, only the necessary formulas, problem types, and scenarios (almost all of which are covered) are included. My teacher's tests were sample AP tests and this book is written specifically for the AP exam -- the example problems in the chapters are based of the exam, the review questions at the end of each chapter are based off the exam, and the sample practice tests are based off the exam. The level of difficulty of these tests are a bit higher than the actual exam, but you will be more than prepared for the AP test come May. Buy this book -- I guarantee you, you will not be dissapointed.
Rating: Summary: The way to go to improve your score. Review: This book contains everything you'd want to know about both AP Physics tests. Everything is written clearly and makes perfect sense, even if you're teacher is useless (trust me, mine is). I've taught myself entire sections using this book alone. I have no doubt that this will improve my score on the AP Physics test.
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: This book helped me prepare me for my 5 on the mechanics and 5 on the EM test! Physics is the hardest subject ever and I didn't get the best grade both semesters. But with this book, I crammed on the last few days before the AP test and did well! I recommend this book!
Rating: Summary: Simply Amazing Review: While taking my AP Physics course, I realized that I needed help...fast. I knew that there were suppliment books available, but none like this book. Everything that you could need - and nothing more - is contained in this book. The examples given are similar to what I've experienced in class, but given with much more detail and explanation. This book has been an invaluable tool.
