Rating: Summary: The Anatomy Coloring Book Review: saved my "anatomy" when my computer wouldn't run the lab software for my internet anatomy class. I would highly recommend it, and have.
Rating: Summary: Excellent adjunct for anatomy Review: The beauty of this book is that it's appropriate for all ages--it's detailed enough for a 1st year med student (especially for the summer before you start--it takes too long to color during the semester), and if you're a visual learner, you'll probably find it a better tool than just any old textbook. The text accompanying each picture is probably too much for a high school student, and maybe just enough for a med student, but it's a good starting point no matter what your level.
Rating: Summary: Very good service Review: The book is super new and the delivery was too fast
Rating: Summary: Learning anatomy made fun and easy! Review: This book is a must for anyone who thinks learning basic anatomy is a boring chore. Excellent for anyone who memorises things visually. The mere time you spend coloring each plate makes you remember both the shape, name and location of bones, muscles etc. I really like the addition of more "joint" plates to this version.Slight minus: The names are not in latin, which is the preferred anatomical language in some parts of the world. (In my case, Norway.)
Rating: Summary: A Great Anatomy Aid -- A must for med students Review: This book is the best reference on the human body I've found! It focuses individually on each system, with large ready-to-color pages. This book list all bones and muscles in the human body (in the drawings, too) and reveals their locations. It goes into extreme detail about everything, and shows a fetal circulation diagram, which I have had trouble finding in other books. This book lists the view names (anterior, posterior, superior, ventral, etc.) and gives a diagram. It even spends some time talking about cells and tissues, with a colorable diagram of a cell. This book is a MUST for med students, and would make a great reference book for physicians. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in human anatomy, for I sure am enjoying it. Also check out "The Physiology Coloring Book, 2nd Edition". Note:For this book you should have a good supply of quality colored pencils, probably about 30, including gray and black.

Rating: Summary: Buy lots of markers Review: This book was fun and interesting. I got asked what I was doing about a million times. Imagine if adults everywhere got a copy of this book, they would not be able to help but color it. I recomend this book to any one, from those who can't answer a three year olds inquiries, to those who just want to learn what really is connected to the leg bone.
Rating: Summary: Jennifer, a nursing studern Review: This is a great book. Being that anatomy consists of being a visual learner, utilizing the guidelines in the book to color in the different aspects of anatomy is exteremely helpful. The diagrams are very detailed with excellent descriptions. I used colored pencils, they are a lot less messy and enable detail.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful For Anatomy and Physiology Students Review: This is a very good reference book for anatomy and physiology students. I also used Anatomy and Physiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers with Explanations (Volume 1) and (Volume 2)by Patrick Leonardi, which is sold also on amazon.com prepared me for the type of questions asked on my college exams. With these three books, I got a 96 average in my undergrad anatomy and physiology class. Definitely, get these three books.
