Rating: Summary: Great, but could have been better Review: Jorge covers everything you want to know about indoor marijuana growing, only there are frequent errors and contradicting statements. It also could have been better organized, but its vast supply of info makes up for these shortcummings.
Rating: Summary: ABSOLUTE ALL TIME BEST BOOK TO OWN Review: Mr. Cervantes presentation of facts and advice is second to none. Having majored in Botany in college, I find the information contained to be the most scientifically correct of any book written, outside of text books, and there's none available on cannabis to compare with given the subject matter. The complexities of cultivation are written in a manner every person should be able to relate to and in an easy to read format with color photos included. Everything is covered in this book so concisely that it need be the only book of its kind on the shelf. I've read probably 90% of the books being marketed on the topic of cannabis and NONE can compare with the factual information contained in this book.
Rating: Summary: Almost Perfect Review: One of the best ever grow guides. When you consider how much you'll spend on seeds and equipment to grow, you've go to see the value in buying a manual and this is a great investment. True there are a few mistakes and it's a little uneven, some subjects are covered in amazing detail and others in very little, but this is a must have for any potentail grower.
Rating: Summary: Jorge knows whats up! Review: People ask me all the time to recommend a grow book. Without fail, I always point to Mr. Cervantes work. He has been a respectable icon in the cannabis world for many years, and really knows his stuff.Jason King, Author: The Cannabible www.thecannabible.com
Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT Review: SOME INFO LACKING BUT OVERALLL EXCELLENT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND MUCH BETTER THAN SOME OTHER BOOKS OUT THERE.
Rating: Summary: Edit me! Review: The "newly revised" edition that I received has so many typos, misspellings, incorrectly placed punctuation marks, etc., that I had trouble taking any of it seriously. Honestly, it doesn't appear that anyone edited a page of this book before it was published.
Rating: Summary: Well worth buying.... Review: This book contains everthing you need to know about growing weed and then some! It covers every topic- from setting up your growroom to breeding. The way it is written makes it very easy for beginners to read it (no technical jargon) The chapter on lights and electricity is extremely detailed; it contains graphs, charts and tables showing the efficiency of all the different types of lights. The chapter on water and fertilizer gives you almost every type of fertilizer there is and explains their nutrient content etc. and tells you which brand names that are most commonly used. And it gives you some good soil mixes to use; I could go on for ages about what this book contains. The book does have a couple of down sides (that's why I only give it 4 stars) but they're mainly cosmetic.- All of the photos are black and white and are not the best quality, but they're o.k. It appeals more to the bigger scale growers (it talks about using basements as growrooms and 1000w lamps) but is still very useful for the small closet grower. There's are lot's of speling and? punct, uation errers# But trust me, it is a good book and is worth buying.
