Summary: very bad little book
Review: I'm a reader from France, I bought this book and was disappointed. In the beginning it starts pretty well, but then, it totally misses the point by giving lame advices such as: write a book, write a newsletter etc... it is very basic, over simplistic...BTW: the title is misleading: "Become an authority in 60 days or less"... Please mister Bly, tell us how to write a book in 60 days!!! Then, the final blow: Bob Bly uses this book for his own self promo and tells us how important that is to build your guru status. Fine. Then, he mention how great his website is...

It is not very impressive, to say the least... It is very badly made and presented. Bly photo is almost a joke... This book has a catchy name but fail to deliver anything more than self-promo 101...

Summary: Become an Authority, but it may take time...
Review: Robert Bly presents a sensible and engaging discussion of how to be (and be seen as) an authority in any field. The most useful piece of information in the book was the discussion of the differences between a "Guru" based website and a "Topic" based website. However, I was disappointed with the lack of a real, clear, preferably diagramatic, description of the second part of the title "...in 60 Days or Less." I think for most people, the admittedly terrific process he gives would take at least 9 to 12 months. But if you're on the verge of needing guru status, by all means, buy this book.

This book is a must have for anyone who wants to profit from the author's vast experience and for those who want to take the most out of a well defined route to success.
