The book is filled with tips and checklists that will make the development and implementation of a repeatable RFP process easier than starting from scratch. The included reference materials are drawn from state governments, which will be invaluable to anyone working in public sector contracting at the state level. If you are completely new to writing RFPs, or work in the private sector, I recommend Request for Proposal: A Guide to Effective RFP Development (ASIN 0201775751); however, this book will still be an invaluable resource after you learn the basics. If you are in the target audience I cited above this book will be of immediate value.
