Rating: Summary: This book offends me Review: This book is about geeks and I find it offensive as I am both a geek and a geezer. If you are a geek and a geezer as well you should avoid this book.
Rating: Summary: Identifying Adaptive Capacity as a key leadership trait Review: This latest addition to the leadership category finally offers a useful, applicable model to those interested in developing their own leadership skills as well as those around them. I found the concept of "adaptive capacity" to be particularly helpful. In these times of economic uncertainty, change, and management failures, I now have a better sense of the leaders to seek out: those resilient individuals who adapt, thrive, and lead because of their ability to "confront unfamiliar situations with confidence and optimism".
