Summary: Coaching with Spirit
Review: As a Certified Professional Life Coach, many of my clients are seaching for something, that something that they discover is Spirit -- spiritual connection. For many of them, it is the missing piece in their achieving a new level of success and finding harmony in their lives. Ms. Belf's book captures the elements of Coaching with Spirit and guides the coach in how to enable their client to reach that Spiritual connection. It is a well written and very helpful book that I intend to use in my coaching practice.

Summary: Human Spirit in Action
Review: Coaching with Spirit is about the human spirit in action. This is graphically demonstrated through the wonderful examples of the presence and work of Spirit contained in the book. Of equal importance are the shared experiences of professional coaches working with Spirit in their coaching work. The use of "Reflection" throughout Coaching with Spirit provides the new and experienced coach alike with tools for deepening their own spiritual exploration. The result is enhanced coaching effectiveness in their work with clients.

Summary: A Winner!
Review: Finally a book bold enough to recognize that attention to spirit is a vital ingredient in an effective coaching partnership. Reframes the use of intuition and rapport into a larger holistic framework. Surprisingly concrete, not airy fairy. Directly applicable to executive, business and personal coaching. Thought provoking, yet practical, takes coaching literature to a new level. I found myself planning ways I would coach differently as I read it. A great addition to my coaching library.

Summary: Clean, bright, graceful, and wise
Review: I sensed Coaching with Spirit like the aroma of the lily on the cover, clean, bright, graceful. What a lovely balance to the business-speak in other books.

"The Present Moment" chapter stirred me. I plan to use many of the kinesthetic suggestions in my own coaching practice, such as the invaluable "game" of leading clients to describe their body sensations and then connect them to emotions.

As a connoisseur of the English language, I savored the clever turns of phrase and apt metaphors. Teri-E's writing is accurate, wise, and often richly amusing. And I gained so much from her stories. They align perfectly with the points she makes.

Also, I appreciated the clear organization of the book. I found my way quickly and easily, like a breeze.

Summary: Finally Someone talking about spirituality in Coaching
Review: I'm on the Amazon website and soooo very excited to see your
book there. Thanks goodness you wrote this! I've been calling myself a
spiritual coach for years now it's good to have company like you. What I
love about your timing of the book is that businesses are opening up to
this. I'm getting calls and jobs about bringing spirituality to work,
finally. Now I have a great book to recommend.

Summary: A MUST read for coaches.
Review: In her book "Coaching With Spirit," Teri-E Belf asks the question "Do you hear a calling to be of service as a coach or to become a better coach?" If your answer is Yes, than this book is a must read.
Through her unique conversational way of writing, Belf inspires us to look at the why, where and how Spirit enhances the coaching process. To support her premise that Spirit is essential in coaching, she shares with us not only her personal stories and experiences as a master coach, but also relates the stories and experiences of other coaches, coach leaders and clients as they experience Spirit in their coaching.
Belf organizes her book around three clear principles:
1) connection with self, clients and the whole 2)living in the present moment and 3) taking responsibility for our choices. Each chapter is filled with practical examples, worksheets and actions that allow the reader to learn and grow as they move through the steps of integrating and enhancing their awareness of Spirit. Through assessments, reflections and case studies, she guides us to a safe space that allows us to observe our own Spirit.
Reading her book is like sitting down with the leaders of the coaching profession and eavesdropping as they openly share from their hearts about Spirit and how it enhances their mastery as a coach. As you read this book you are surrounded and inspired by Spirit.
If you are looking for practical steps and in-spirit-ational stories to take your coaching practice to the next level. Enjoy! You are in for a treat.

Summary: Practical and Profound
Review: Teri-E Belf has written a book both practical and profound - filled with proven principles and real-life experiences, shared by experienced coaches and people whose lives have been touched and transformed by coaching. Belf goes beyond coaching techniques (although these abound as well) to the heart of the matter - how insights and transformation can occur in big and small ways when Spirit is allowed to lead. I have rarely read a book with so much excellent practical advice that is so unabashedly focused on what really matters - helping people find personal purpose, meaning and connection in their lives. I highly recommend this to coaches and to all managers and professionals who are interested in helping people achieve their fullest potential.
