Rating: Summary: Excellent reference and preparation guide for Registry ! Review: I just finished my MLT program this year. I purchased this guide in preparation for my national registry exam this summer. The format was easy to follow with its answers and explanations for those answers. After reviewing this material, I feel more prepared to PASS registry. I find this book to be an EXCELLENT preparation guide for Registry examination !
Rating: Summary: Clinical Laboratory Science Review: I think this is an excellent resource for MLS majors. The expinations given with the answers help in understanding any cloudy areas within the subject of the questions. I was a bit disappointed in the CD. I was hoping it would be more like the book in giving explinations for questions, but it only provides a 100 question mock exam. Don't get me wrong, this was definately worth the price paid for such a great resource.
Rating: Summary: Clinical Laboratory Science Review Review: This is a great book for review purposes. It covered each topic completely. The only thing I was disappointed in was the disk that came with it. It was 100 questions and didn't give you the answers till you completed the enire thing.
Rating: Summary: Great Review Book....But No CD-ROM :( Review: This is a really great book to review for the Registry. There are well over 1000+ questions in this book. It covers the seven majors areas of Clinical Science. Those areas are Hematology, Immunology, Immunohematology, Clinical Chemistry, Body Fluids, and Microbiology. The thing I found really neat about this book was that it gave detailed explanations at the end of each review section. So you got the opportunity to learn a little something extra even if you did got the question right. My only complaint about this book is the disk. I could'nt use it because I have a CD-ROM drive. Don't they know that the majority of computers that are coming out today have CD-ROM drives? I hope that the latest version of this book comes with a CD-ROM....because disks are just so late 20th century! :)
