The textbook is practical and loaded with valuable details required for practicing the art of dental hygiene. The chapters are clearly organized and easy to follow. Resources and references listed at the end of each chapter can lead the reader to more information on the various topics. It could easily be considered a mini-encylopedia for dental health information. This book is a bargain!!! I highly recommend this book to students and practicing dental hygienists.

Review: This book should be mandatory for anyone considering the dental hygiene field. I found it very perceptive and clear cut. This was one of my best study guides and references for my exams and clinical. I couldn't have gotten through state boards without it.
