Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very Thorough
Review: This is the best book for the "nuts and bolts' of roof cutting. Not only does he emphasize the important topics, he reinforces them by using problems to test your newly acquired skills. The presentation of alternate ways to measure and cut a roof helps by providing tools to enable any framer to become an expert. Highly recommended to any carpenter who wants to take the next step or to the pro who just wants to hone his skills.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good book for Carpenters looking to expand their skills
Review: This text is definitely written by an experienced master roof-cutter that knows his trade, and mathematics very well. However, as you will see in reading other reviews, you will need a scientific calculator to follow along with the concepts presented here. In addition to this book, there are two VHS video tapes available on these lessons from some very nice folks to deal with at:

Summary: SIMPLY THE BEST BOOK ON THE SUBJECT EVER.
Review: You are a better man than I if you can grasp this book lying in bed casually reading it as you would a novel. I have been studing it for two years and see it as the equivalent to an apprenticeship cutting roofs. It has expanded my knowledge base as a carpenter in other areas besides framing. The uncommited need not apply.
