Review: What you read in this book is wonderful, what you learn by contacting an Excel representative is the final step to realizing the born-again American Dream. Tired of living by someone else's schedule? Tired of no freedom to spend time with family? Tired of taking vacation only once or twice a year and only when it is convenient for your job? Want to own your own business for about 2 day's pay? Want to see your children grow up and strengthen your relationships? Want to "retire" in about 1-2 years (do not confuse this with "get rich quick" scams, this is get rich slowly and ethically)? See what freedom can do in your life--Excel is the vehicle! Kenny Trout is a modern day saint of impeccable virtue. Who else would design a business that truly IS owned by ordinary people and benefits ordinary people? Perhaps the best book I've ever read in the area of self-help, motivation, and home based business opportunities. Would you rather sell vitamins, lotions, potions, and other items no one needs or offer a service everyone has AND needs? Kudos to James Robinson for exposing the greatest and most hugely successful company to ever hit America (Microsoft who?). Do yourself a favor: READ THE BOOK AND FIND A REP NOW!! Or, you could eke out an existence as a wage slave and marry your job. I Excel, do you?

Summary: This book is about people having choices in life
Review: James Robinson has done a good job of describing Excel's wild ride to success. He shows the reader how much credibility and integrity this company posesses, and clearly demonstrates that Excel is leading the Network Marketing industry from being misunderstood and on the fringe to mainstream and highly respected. The book illustrates why Network Marketing, and Excel in particular, is a concept whose time has come because of the convergence of several factors - namely the sharp increase in home-based businesses, diminished loyalty in "conventional" employer/employee relationships, advances in technology, and deregulation of the communications industry. As a former skeptic, I can say that this book goes a long way toward giving the Network Marketing industry the respect that it truly deserves. As an Excel Representative, I can say that like any business, it's not without its warts. But then, we all decide what to make of what we are given, don't we?

If you're interested in reading about that story...THIS ISN'T THE BOOK FOR YOU. This is a 200 page brochure for the Excel Business Opportunity without the color glossy pictures. If you're interested in learning how you can join the American Dream, start your own business, work from home and live the lifestyle of the rich and famous by selling long distance service to your friends and neighbors, buy the book. Or save yourself the $20 bucks and attend their next pep rally coming soon to your hometown
