Review: My wife, Sharon, and I are independent reps for Excel Communications and this is a terrific book to send to people who know nothing about Excel or network marketing. Network marketing is the wave of the future!! I am a slow reader; but I read this book in one day because it was so interesting that I could not put it down until I finished it! I am going to order a couple more of this book to send to friends!!!

Review: THE EXCEL PHENOMENON has great value as an explanation to the uninformed about an amazing opportunity that is still, for the most part, untapped in this country. It will have greater value many years from now, as Excel goes on to fulfill its destiny as one of the greatest companies ever built in America. Those picking up this book twenty years from now will say, "Wish I'd read it when it first came out!", because Jim Robinson is clearly urging all those who are unsatisfied with their financial lives to jump on our bandwagon. To me, this book's great importance is that it is the FIRST to chronicle the rise of Excel Communications. In the upcoming decades, it will be obvious that those who joined in the 90's were the visionaries, and at that time, Jim Robinson's enthusiasm will be seen as prescient. Meanwhile ... read it! Whether you love or hate network marketing, whether you believe in the American Dream ... it has something to say to everyone about faith and commitment in business.

Review: When my friend asked me to try Excel's long distace service, I said glad to if it's cheaper. I then asked him if it was network marketing and he replied yes. At that moment I new I found a great business. This book is a must for any business owners. My friend wanted to help me out buy letting me have a great thing. That's what Excel is all about. People helping People.

Review: Finally, a "no-hype" piece of information simply based on the financial success of everyday people! I'm talking about "stay at home moms" (I am one thanks to this business) ,professionals, and just about anyone from any background. You don't need over exaggerated, inflated falsehoods about trying to be a millionaire when the simple truths about how this NYSE company has provided a solid opportunity to earn income from the use of services the masses use 24 hrs. per day. The company took a simple concept but with expert management, planning, and operations has taken the industry by storm. If you're looking for answers, facts, and an opportunity that will turn your finances around - this book is a must read and the venture is a must do.

Summary: Interesting Review on Excel & It's Opportunity
Review: The Excel Phenomenon is a very well written history of Excel, It's founder - Kenny Troutt, and mostly - the Excel opportunity.It is probably slanted at being a recruiting tool for Excel reps. Which is actually a brilliant idea. But, it can take away from the book also when readers finally realize that they are being recruited. Robinson does a fine job of profiling Troutt, and many successful reps. Excel really is a tremendous financial opportunity that Robinson clearly articulates. I would reccomend for everyone reading this review to diversify your income, through Excel or through another source (actually several). When you have a few small streams of income coming in from various sources the final result is financial security. You'll never be trapped if one of the streams of income stops. This book is the tip of the iceberg, for several of Excel reps, Kenny Troutt, and possibly you. I personally haven't used the Excel Phenomenon to recruit for Excel, but I read it before I joined as it helped me with some of my research. If you're thinking about joining Excel, give it a read. It's a well written eye opener.

Review: The Excel Phenomenon is very easy to read and depicts a true "rags-to-riches" story. You walk away with an honest look at an industry that is growing by leaps and bounds, a company that has capitalized on that growth and the Man who made it happen. Not only will you learn how simple the concept is but how you can be part of it! James Robinson was able to capture and honestly report on the integrity of the company, and many lives that are drastically changing as a result. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is intrigued by the ever changing world of communications or is looking for a way to enhance the quality of their lives and helping others to do the same. And the story doesn't end with the book....

Summary: A well written and unbiased summary of the Excel Opprotunity
Review: I've read this book through twice and believe it to be a great source of information about Excel and how we can benefit from it. When the book was written, Mr. Robinson was not associated with Excel in any way. This gives it a tremendous level of credibility. I am an Independent Representative with Excel and I give a copy to all of the reps I personally sponser. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about the greatest financially opprotunity available today!

Review: Super book about eveyday people dreaming and then living that dream. This book is not about a get rich quick, but good ole fashion work! But the rewards are far more then money. Its about helping others realize there dream can also come true if you help them. Author did a great job!
