Summary: They DId Not Hold Up In The Crash
Review: They loved Enron at the peak. Their methods are questionable.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Comprehensive and concise, too
Review: This book covers everything to get started in the stock market with whatever money you have, and it's concise enough too that it doesn't waste your time with extra words. A very finely written book. The investment plan information in the appendix is nice to have in print.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great place to start
Review: This book provides a walk-through for how to get started in direct investment plans. My investment club is just getting started, and with the help of this book we'll start investing in DRIP plans. They're a great way to sock away a little bit each month. This book is a good resource for any DRIP investors.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Highly biased, not objective. Cheerleading for DRIPs
Review: This book reads like a long ad for the Motley Fools and DRIP plans. Such plans are cumbersome to invest through and not available to tax account investors. These and other drawbacks are omitted from this marketing piece.

Historic return numbers of portfolios are also bogus as it involves much backtesting for what has worked with the benefit of hindsight.
