Summary: Great manual without much competition...
Review: Great manual but there are not that many options to choose from in this field if you want a book small enough to carry in your lab coat. In every way this book is top notch and has practical application for daily practice. It includes plenty of "cut to the chase" advice on how to manage these medicines. My only complaint is that the book is from 1997 and plenty has changed since then in the field.

Summary: Thorough Review for the Office
Review: I found this book very helpful in many areas. For one it is one of the few that actually a have list of the MAO diet- it is even easy to copy to hand to patients. It not only talks about drugs that are on the market but also those not approved yet or those used in Europe. AAlthough it only barely fits in your lab coat, it is not heavy to carry. At the same time it is not too small without giving a thorough review as some small poacket books do. I recommend this to everyone but in particular for those on consultation liason service as well as training residents or fellows - being an upper level resident myself, I know the usefulness of this book from experience.
