Review: This is a good book overall, if you can handle what is otherwise a very dry read. There aren't many textbooks for critical care out there like this one and because of that it is an invaluable resource. Nonetheless, it is very hard to read through and could use some spicing up.

Very informative on everything from advanced airway procedures, cardiac care, and transport pharmacology. Excellent section on peds as well.
