Summary: Superlative wealth of usable information
Review: I borrowed "Preventive Cardiology" from the library, and after reading through it, I decided to purchase it! Excellent background of epidemiologic information complete with crisp charts and graphs, great up to date explanations of pathophysiology, well formed treatment recommendations and guidelines presented. There is a wealth of up to date information consistant with the current primary literature on laboratory and diagnositic tests, medications, diet, and patient assessment. "Preventive Cardiology" is well written, easy to read, and a great reference tool for all health care providers.
