Rating: Summary: Curriculum Improvement Decision Making and Process Review: This text was difficult to use. The information needed was available, but you had to sort through it to find it. It will make a good reference book and I plan to keep it, but if revised it should be made more user friendly. For this course, with most of the students working full time, vital information at your finger tips and not having to sift through non-essential information is a priority because of time.

Rating: Summary: Curriculum Improvement needs improvement Review: The text, Curriculum Improvement, by Ronald Doll, is very technically factual. It provides the most recent statistics and trends in education. However, the book is a bit much for practical application. Some of the chapters are helpful in curriculum planning, but most of them are too detailed for "leisure time" reading. For the purpose of the curriculum planning course, the text provides accurate, in depth coverage of every aspect of curriculum planning and implementation. This text, overall, gets 2 stars!
