Review: I felt that this was an effective text for students to use as a guide when studying curriculum design. I did not read it chapter by chapter, but read what was necessary. The chapters were easy to follow and outlined very clearly. The text was easy to read and understand as well.

Review: Ronald C. Doll's text, Curriculum Improvement, Decision Making and Process, 9th Edition, was easy to read, well organized, and relevant to this course. I especially liked the Table of Contents and how detailed the sections were. The situations were interesting to read and the activities in each chapter were good. The most important thing about the text was that I found it to be up-to-date and the issues of curriculum relevant to my teaching. The Prologue was especially interesting. I would recommend using this book in future courses on curriculum.

It offers very valuable information for educators who want to work on curriculum. Furthermore, it discusses in detail the criteria for selecting many of the essential parts of an effective curriculum.

Review: I must be honest the book was used as a reference. I referred to the book when I needed some explaination of a concept or a process. However, I did not use the book extensively. Curriculum Planning by Doll is great for the student who has little to no experience with curriculum and design. It is also a wonderful history book, detailing the history of curriculum design and it's progression through the years. As stated before it is a good reference book. Once again, this text was a wonderful reference and I do recommedend it for that use.

Review: Curriculum Improvement although very informative was a little dry. If your objective is solely obtaining information based on research for use in your studies it is very helpful. I found myself rereading a lot of the chapters because my attention wasn't held effectively.

Review: I find the book Curriculum Improvement: Decision Making and Process by Ronald C. Doll to be ver informative. It contains a great deal of information that can be helpful to teachers if they utilize them. The vocabulary tends to be s bit high flown in some areas, hence there were some sections that I had to read many times for clarity. The layout of the book for some parts could have been done differentl, and would probably have been more beneficial to readers. The size of the prints were somewhat small thus making it a bit difficult for me to read. The cover of the book was sturdy which made it able to withstand wear and tear due to constant usuage. On a whole the book is a good educational resource book that teachers especially those in curriculum designing would find vry helpful.
