Review: After having studied Mr. Schiffs' materials over two years ago, I have saved thousands of dollars from being wasted by the Fedreal Government. The IRS has tried to intimidate me with threatening letters, but if you know your rights and what the IRS can and can't do, as explained by Mr. Schiff in his various publications, then the IRS no longer represents any type of credible threat to you.

Review: After reading this book I stopped paying taxes since 1998
by filing a "zero return" as suggested by the author. I am not in jail and know my rights because of this book, and you should too. Long live the Constitution!

Summary: I HAVE RESEARCHED THE LAW AND KNOW THIS BOOK IS TRUE
Review: AMERICA, IT IS TIME TO STAND UP AND FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS! The Government has been illegally swindling the ignorant public for decades now with a massive web of lies, propaganda, and deception. But if you research the law for yourself, with the guidance of this book, then you will SEE FOR YOURSELF that income tax is voluntary! I have independantly verified the claims of this book and know them to be true. NO ONE WHO HAS FILED A ZERO RETURN HAS GONE TO JAIL FOR DOING SO - EVER! (except for those that were already in trouble with the IRS and filed a zero return as a last resort) Irwin was jailed illegally 13+ years ago for not filing a return, which is not what this book instructs you to do. I've heard several recordings/transcripts online of people who have used Irwin's material in IRS audits and the agents were terrified and could do nothing against the truth! They were exposed for the sham that they were! This book was a tremendous eye-opener and changed my life forever, but you MUST research the law for yourself to verify what you read!

Schiff on our present day government and its "judiciary" and
the IRS by printing and disecting the actual laws in USC 26 (the internal revenue code). This book will shater all illusions that this is a country liberty and justice for all. Illustrated with excerpts from his actual trial transcripts.
I recomend first reading the "THE GREAT INCOME TAX HOAX" to understand and apreciate how the founding fathers intended to limit the governments ability to tax us. Once you have read these two books you will have to ask some very
disturbing questions of yourself as to the future of this country.

Review: Another referenced and documented book by Irwin Schiff on our present day government and its "judiciary" and the IRS by printing and disecting the actual laws in USC 26 (the internal revenue code). Illustrated with excerpts from his actual trial transcripts. Where Mr. Schiff goes to jail twice. I do not recomend first reading any of his material. Once you have read his books you too can go to jail. These books are full of confusion and delusionary manifestations of a misguided person. You see the revenue law relate to taxpayers not to non-taxlpayers.

Review: As only that brave man will tell it. It is strong and entertaining, stunning and enlightening, honestly revealing the passion and spirit of the author. This book should be available in every law school and library in America. Buy it for yourself, and buy one for your library.

Summary: Tax Protesting for the Brave, or Imprudent?
Review: Be careful to pay attention to the warning in this book about how you can be illegally prosecuted for not paying taxes and may have to pay stiff penalties and serve some jail time. You've got to ask yourself, is it really worth it? Schiff lays down a very thorough argument that the federal government taxes us when it is unconstitutional to do so and that is why the legal language in IRS tax code does not say you are "required" to pay your taxes. Instead they say taxation is based on the Orwellian doublespeak term "Voluntary Compliance". Irwin Schiff has really thoroughly studied the IRS tax code and he has spent much of his life battling the IRS, the government, and courts over tax issues, always with the purpose of proving them wrong. Trouble is, many judges won't even listen to his arguments, and arrogantly dismiss his claims that they are unconstitutionally prosecuting him. The judge is to decide what is constitutional or not and what his sentence will be according to case law that comes to conclusions that may not be constitutional. Of course, we have to take Schiff's word for it that he is right, so this is not an objective presentation of the problem from a third party. However, the IRS and the judges have never shown Schiff in what code he is required to pay income taxes; they refuse to do so. He has done some jail time and the IRS has a way of picking out a number from thin air in deciding what a "tax cheat's" penalties will be. I admire his courage, but I don't think I would volunteer for all the stress of confronting the IRS and government so directly, unless I was desperate. Let everyone decide for himself. Some people play it safe and prudently pay their taxes, but even then the IRS may still deal out some injustice to you, if they think you've made a mistake. You are also giving up your right to privacy when you give your financial records to the IRS. You open yourself up to investigation. Schiff comes to conclusion that we now live under the arbitrary government of men and no longer live under the rule of law. Schiff supports the view that only the brave deserve freedom and you can't be a prudent little mouse obeying whatever the government coerces us to do. But other people like Schiff bravely take on the system and get punished for it. Schiff is really looking to recruit other tax protesters such as himself so that there will be so many protesters the government will cave in. There are other ways to protest taxes though that are more prudent, but may be less effective and slower in their results. Schiff's book is pretty entertaining and funny at times for a usually dull subject--taxes. He also has a talent for explaining complicated issues in a simple and clear manner. It is also a good book for studying constitutional and bill of rights issues. But you have to ask yourself do you really want to spend time in today's prisons where they don't separate the violent from the non-violent, or hostile races from each other, and they don't do much about prison rape either.

Summary: STOP AND LISTEN
Review: Before you write this off as some conspiracy theorist book, note that Irwin Schiff has said '" The Laws are just fine. They don't need to change. It's not even the fault of the IRS. They are just doing what they have been given reign to do." He even opposes abolishing the IRS. He insists they have a legitimate purpose which is to collect the taxes authorized by the constitution: Liquor, Tobacco and Firearms, which 1/3rd of the IR code is dedicated to. The problem is that the Supreme court has determined that a mandatory tax on wages/commissionsetc to be illegal so they have defined it as a tax on profits, and all income taxes as referred to in the code are voluntary. Income is not even defined in the code so that you assume you are liable and continue to volunteer. All fine and dandy you say. I still dont want to go to jail like he did!..... well, me either. Fortunately, he has it all worked out so you can firmly establish your right to not volunteer, support it with supreme court decisions and avoid court and leins all together. Read the book. It is really the right thing to do to stand up for our constitutional rights, before the constitution becomes a worthless piece of paper.

Review: Could anyone give real hard facts? I mean anyone who has benefitted, how and how much? Did anyone, after reading the book, stopped paying taxes? consequences? Light on this matters will surely lead to more awareness and ofcourse more tax savings.
