Summary: Books Shows Agents How to Make More Profit
Review: After working with real estate agents for over a decade on business planning, I perfected a system for planning that's easy and effective. My book has dozens of ideas, too, on marketing tactics great agents use to increase their businesses. Most importantly, I've put in the system the most important considerations agents should watch for in his business to save time, $, and create more profit. When agents use my system, they find it easy to make the best choices. It's also endorsed as best of its kind by the Managers' Council of the National Association of Realtors. To help agents and managers, I also teach a course in business planning, where agents and managers actually complete their plans. To support the system, I have audio-tapes available.I do work with companies helping them put this system into place, which raises both agent and manager productivity and profits. For more information on my programs and products, email me at carlacrs@wolfenet.com.

Summary: GREAT BOOK FOR REAL ESTATE PLANNING
Review: Being a new real estate agent I brought this book with the hope that it would help me build my new business. I was wrong. This book mainly talks about looking at your past few years of realestate sales and changing your program using your past data into a better program. Utterly useless for the beginning agent. Carla Cross has a very good title writer for her books, since i brought her another one of her books in vain.

Summary: Recommend to Anyone Who Wants to Make Lots of Money
Review: Carla's business planning system works. She hired me as a new agent in 1987. Following her planning system, I made $80,000 my first year! I'm now the number one agent in my 1500 agent company. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to make more money in real estate. It helps you discover your own best game-to understand your strengths and how to put yourself into a position where you can use them.

Summary: Solid Planning Guide
Review: Even if you appreciate the importance of planning your business -- a MUST -- this guide is a very good resource to get you started. Much better for the experienced agent than a new licensee.

Summary: GREAT BOOK FOR REAL ESTATE PLANNING
Review: Even though another reviewer said this is not good for a new agent, I disagree. Firstly, it is my Broker's favorite and he has built a successful business using it. Secondly, IT SHOWS YOU HOW TO FIGURE PROFIT AN LOSS ON ANY GIVEN REAL ESTATE "MARKET" OR "FARM", something no other book explains this way. Once you know how much revenue a given area could produce, then you can pick the best areas to concentrate in. Since we all have to focus on a few areas or farms, this book gives a great way to choose the best farms to work on.

Because of this formula, I am able, as a new agent, to not waste my time on unprofitable markets. Although it is not just for beginners, this book is a good one to start with and it will grow with you as your career grows.

Summary: Book Meant for Both Salesperson and Manager
Review: I recommend this book to agents, managers, and owners, for they can pick and choose the portions that are relevant to their busineses. The important thing is to plan, and this book is clearly organized especially for real estate practititioners. There's an excellent section on open houses and personl marketing. I especially liked the fifth marketing tactics for the real estate agent.

Summary: Comprehensive Business Planning
Review: This book is the most comprehensive of its kind under one cover. It addresses the business within a business and ties together all aspects of planning with a logical flow--a very credible work by a well respected leader within the real estate profession.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Attain a Higher Level of Professionalism and Profit
Review: Whether you have a business background or not, this book provides a thought provoking how to plan that will help any agent move to a higher level of professionalism and profit. I recommended it to the National Association of Realtors convention when I spoke to hundreds of managers and agents, and I highly recommend it to both agents and managers.
