Review: I found the material to be complete. The information contained within is usable for the professional as well as the novice. The book takes you through a step by step procedure on water distribution modeling covering all aspects of the process, from nuts to soup, from theory to application. Each aspect has its own section along with discussion topics and problems. In most cases you are shown how to manually calculate sections and given problems to reinforced what you've learned. This is a good learning tool as well as a general handbook. The book is based on the software from Haestad Methods, Inc., (included with the book), but the general theory given can be applied to any method you wish to use. I recommend this book for learning water distribution modeling or hydraulic theory.

This book is full of usefull design tools and equations as well as liturature to help the Design Engineer through the process of water distribution design.
