Review: I own a consulting & engineering company. Our main activity is design of water distribution and sewerage systems.
Modeling a system is very important in order to get the most economical and precise solution. By the help of this book we have added many features to our design criteria. Also waterCAD that comes in the CD with the book helps you to understand the many cases more briefly.
And for us the most usefull part is the calibration part; as we have not taken the actual data into cobnsideration before, but by the help of this book it becomes more easy.
Another advantage of the book is; it contains nearly everything that you must know in order to design a network; we use it as a course book to our new engineers.

Review: I initially purchased this book as a supplment to the WaterCAD software sold by Haestad Methods in preparation for creating a municpal water system model. After reading the first few chapters, I found it to be more than a just supplement but rather a great tool and valuable resource for Water Modeling. I would reccommend it as a must for every modler.
