Summary: Must see to Believe!
Review: I was impressed the minute I pulled this CD & Activity Guide out of the box. The picture on the front is a 3-D effect! I have been signing with my son for almost 2 years and even if I had never signed before the songs on this CD would be our favorite in the house. The illustrations in this book are so easy to follow and so much fun I was dancing in my chair as I looked at each sign in the Activity Guide. The book is of such high quality and the CD also stores right in the book. A definite hope chest item. The songs are the type you can listen to over and over without going crazy. We will be dancing thru the house and in the car to this one for a long time. This ones a keeper!

Summary: Amazing for Parents and Kids
Review: The music on this CD is well worth the price whether you sign with your kids or not.When I put the CD in, my 20-month old son's ears perked up. Since the first time we listened, I find him singing the songs to himself. He will stand alone and sing a few words from "More Milk" or the "Oowww" song (he still is kind of monotone so it sounds really cute). The first time he sang "More Milk," I thought he was hungry. He also loves the "Go to the Zoo" song. But if you do sign with kids, the CD adds a second dimension that is amazing. My son has been signing for about 10 months. Even though he talks more than signs now, he has enjoyed learning some new signs and using the old ones he know along with new songs. The Activity Guide is amazing and guides you through how to sign the songs. The songs also have funny lines for parents so you'll be laughing as you all dance. One of the songs about changing diapers has funny commentary in the background. This is one of the best purchases I made for both me and my son.

Summary: Signing for babies, kids and adults: Everything you need!
Review: What a terrific and comprehensive product this is! Whether you are a teacher, a baby signing group leader or a mom hanging out with her children at home, this is such a great find for you. The songs are fun, the activities are exciting and the illustrations are very clear. Research shows that children love musical activity and they also love sign language - so it's just natural to combine the two. What's even better about this is the strong appeal it has for children of all ages. The box recommends ages 7 months to 7+ years, which neatly encompasses the age range of my own children. Obviously no signing family should be without this. This amazing product - 20 songs, 21 activities, over 200 ASL illustrated signs, an enhanced CD for your computer - are too good to pass by.

Summary: "Don't forget to pick-up your Pick Me Up"
Review: Wow! After purchasing more than 25 videos and CD's for my class, I now have the perfect CD and Activity Book made for teaching songs using ASL signs. I can't say enough about the clarity, usuability, and creative songs on this CD. It has rock-n-roll, hip-hop, country, lullaby, and many more types of music on the CD. PLUS, the Activity Book takes you step by step through each song! You have to see this to believe it! Since I don't teach made-up signs for children, this is a great tool for me to help little ones learn to use ASL signs through the movement of music.
Way to go Northlight! I would give this 10 stars if I could!

Summary: Really good ASL explanations
Review: You can pop the CD into your computer and watch a video of one of the songs being signed, as well as tips on working with children. The pictures look like they were rendered in Poser, so they are more clear than many books with photos or drawn images. A few signs have could be confusing due to a lack of explanation to go with the picture, however. It had good information about ASL classifiers, which was a delightful and unexpected bonus. The music CD was like listening to bad knockoffs of good songs, but after you listen to them long enough, you get used to it.
