Summary: A great reference and very well illustrated
Review: This book is a must for everyone wanting to learn more about decision making and wanting to understand the concepts behind it. The examples draw heavily on raster GIS, still the concepts behind various techniques and approaches are explained to the point. This books covers all and more of what you will ever need to know. The perfect and crisp clear step by step illustrations make this book a great textbook for academic teaching as well. My students were actually in awe that seemingly difficult concepts could be boiled down to a few simple pictures.

It describes common modeling mistakes to avoid and provides plenty of examples. I haven't found any other texts that are this in-depth, describing every step of the modeling process in detail.

Review: Very good introduction about the combination of GIS technologies and multi-criteria analysis. The combination of both provide a good tool for planning and decision making
