Summary: Getting Everything You Can Out of All You've Got
Review: I purchased this book based primarily on the strong endorsements found here via these reviews. I must admit, that I am disappointed with the content and scope of this book. The topics are broad-brushed and extremely basic-- and I find Jay's insights both uninspired and less than insightful. Another reviewer indicated that this has all been done before and I have to agree...It has been done before and done better. I am a marketing and product management professional- with 20+ years of experience. I had hoped for some bits of information that would add new tools to my professional arsenal- no such luck

Summary: Some people are clueless... And need to a wake up call.
Review: Jay gave me that wake up call we all need. So does his book. Mostly people read a book and say to themselves, "Gee that's an interesting concept". Athough I can't speak for Jay, I'm sure you would be serverly chastised by Jay because the strategies, tactics and techniques he advocates are meant to be applied, not just studied. Action is what counts, and I can unhestatingly say that today I received an opportunity to close a $5,000,000+ deal based upon one simple idea Jay's book gave me. No kidding. A deal which I would have totally over looked otherwise. You be the judge though, whether you want to have the business and life you dream of... or not.

Summary: It's all been done.
Review: My first reaction from having read this book was, "DUH"! Aside from anecdotes about how well his clients are doing, the author doesn't seem to offer anything original here. Most of the tips and techniques are not given in any great detail; perhaps Mr. Abrahams hopes we'll attend one of his seminars, because this book reads like a transcription of what I imagine his oral presentation to be like. I only wish I'd had time to read the book before the 30-day money-back guarantee expired.

Summary: A little too simple
Review: Abraham's book was quite a disapointment. His suggestions are so trite and obvious. I'm sure the author knows his stuff, but I saw nothing suggestive of either his 5K an hour worth, nor the price of the book.

Summary: GREAT!
Review: Jay is the man! His ideas are the best I've ever heard. Many of them are simple but you never realized were there. He helps clarify many of the marketing techniques in use today, and shows you new ones you've never imagined. Definatly worth the money on this one!

Summary: Finally, A How-To Book That Really Shows You How-To
Review: If you've been burned before when you bought a how-to book from some "world renowned" expert and found nothing but 350 pages of buzzwords and bizspeak that wouldn't help you if you had a Phd, then you'd probably pass this gem right on by. And that would be a huge mistake.

BUT THIS BOOK! Why? Because Jay Abraham has managed to do something I've not seen before -- he has taken his marketplace-tested strategies and tactics for success and has translated them so that anyone can easily understand how to apply them to his/her own business or job.

What you'll learn from this book is stunning in its simplicity. Once you read the book you'll probably slap your forehead and mutter "why didn't I think of that?" That's Jay's genius. He knows how to focus on what is right in front of him and use it. We all have the ability to do what Jay has done so successfully for himself and his clients. But most of us haven't. We tend to discount or completely ignore our own talents and tools and never bring them to bear 100%. This book shows us how to use our abilities. No shortcuts. Lots of hard work. But the steps are made clear. We just have to have the drive to follow them.

I say again, BUY THIS BOOK!

Then, READ THIS BOOK!

Summary: I got $185,500 worth of marketing consulting for $17 bucks.
Review: I have never posted a book review before, but I felt a little guilty because of the benefit(s) I have received from Jay's new book.

This may seem hard to believe, but since reading Jay's book, my company generated two completely fresh ideas/strategies worth $185,500 to me and my company (a 4 million software applications company) in less than *two weeks*.

Here's the best part:

My total cost to implement the ideas: $28.65. (I have the receipt!)

Special Note: His "Strategy of Pre-Eminence" concept is a total "thought bomb". Original, yet universally applicable to all businesses...and in my opinion a "must read" if only for that chapter. I'm getting 20 copies for the rest of my co-workers. And I'm seriously considering offering the book to my special 150+ Clients.

Lastly, armed with this information, I'm gonna "rip the heads" off my competition. No kidding. No doubt.

Summary: Five stars is not enough!
Review: This is a well-written strategy for marketing success, full of business-building ideas you can use right away. The insights in this book helped me re-focus my business development efforts, and my practice has grown tremendously as a result. Well worth the investment.

Summary: Jay disappoints... save your money
Review: I've known Jay for quite a while, but this book is a hack job, not worthy of his insights and personal charisma.

This is just another bad marketing book, written in a hurry. It won't change your life or your business. PASS.
