Summary: PlainTalk Consulting!
Review: I have been in the construction business in Houston, Texas for 36 years. I have been to countless seminars, read numerous books, listened to hours of tapes, and heard hundreds of boring lectures about management philosophies and marketing strategies. The insight and knowledge expressed in your book gives the first practical "plain language" approach to successful business management that I have found. I can put it to work the first day! Furthermore, I can share the approach with my employees so that they can put it to work for themselves and thereby, multiply my efforts 100 fold!

Summary: It really works!
Review: Of the 100 or so business books I read every year, this book out-performs everyone of them by far.

After reading just the first chapter, my head almost exploded with a flurry of ideas on improving how my own business works. I also had to stop reading the book at bedtime, because I couldn't fall asleep after being energized by the author's wonderful energy.

In a nutshell, read it, or be left behind.

Review: Jay Abraham, marketing genius and world's highest paid marketing consultant, has scored a Super Bowl touchdown and a two point converson with his new book - "Getting Everything You Can Out of All You've Got: 21 Ways You Can Out-Think, Out-Perform and Out-Earn the Competition." The book is easy to read and "jampacked" with real nuggets of practical ideas and advice. After reading this book the reader will never "think the same way again" and will probably agree that congratulations and eternal thanks are due to Jay Abraham who offered, presented, and shared so much of his knowledge, himself, and his passion in these 21 chapters. Summary: If you can't find at least three "go do it" tips...
Review: If you can't find at least three "go do it" tips from this book, you're just not trying. The author talks about techniques I had always thought were not appropriate for my business, but he made me rethink my old paradigm and I now have a plan to incorporate several of them through the year. I recommend this book to anyone trying to expand and grow a business.

Summary: Marketing Guru Hits Home Run
Review: I have been an avid believer of Jay's approach to marketing forthe last 3 years or so and this new book only strengthens my belief that he is the true KING OF MARKETING! We have used his techniques in our printing business, ZAP Printing, to grow our profits and cut our time at work. He gives tons of real life examples you can use, not theories taught in a classroom. Anyone looking for ways to grow a business, start here, most marketing "consultants" have "borrowed" much of Jay's wisdom in the past and charge much more than $25 to consult with you! A Bargain...

Summary: Why? Why not?
Review: That old question, from some soldier, or past president (or prime minister) is what I got from the book. That and a lot of very practical places to start-- after he got me asking "why not".

I've had a few businesses, and been part of a few more. What I got from this book is that I can take a step back and re-focus on why I am there, who I am supposed to be helping. He talks about a "strategy of pre-eminence" which is an ostentatious title for a simple and undeniably attractive concept: treat your clients needs above and before your own.

I can't imagine a waiter, after work, going to such pains for his family as he does in the restaurant, but who doesn't love to be fussed over? These and others are simple concepts, but how often do we see, do we <experience> that kind of service? One out of ten stores?

I got the feeling that I could make my business the "one out of ten" after I got through with the first 4 chapters.

It's a good feeling, that confidence, and well worth the purchase price.

Happy reading.

Summary: Required Reading
Review: Required reading for the young and old.

Most managers understand some of this stuff, but few explain the subject as does Jay Abraham.

Many of these strategies have worked for me in my military career, my stint as a Fortune 500 sales/distribution manager, and now in the arena of not-for-profit charities. This book gives us the tools to teach the concepts - fast!

Until now, the only way to learn this was in the school of hard knocks. These ideas cut years off the learning curve and add thousands of dollars to the bottom line.

With some adaptation, charities can easily leveragte each donated dollar to its max.

Recommended to everyone interested in providing superior, guaranteed-to-work-the-first-time, money back, no risk, give-me-more-of-the same until something better comes along service and products.

It was easy to read and extremely enlightening and I recommend it highly to anyone who wants to succeed!
