Summary: This is probably a good book for the emotional reader.
Review: When reading on finances, I pretty much prefer to the point information. This book seems to relate everything to some psychological scarring of your past. Although some excellent points where made, I found myself skipping through the pages freqently. The Ten Steps to Finacial Freedom was more to my liking.

Summary: A very good book
Review: I like the way Suzie teaches you to take control and overcome the main misconceptions of money. While parts are a repeat of her earlier work, none the less--a good book. Besides, repition is the mother of skill. I would also suggest reading, in fact they are must reading, "The Millionaire Next Door" by Stanley and Danko and "More Wealth without Risk" BY Givens. These are must reading for anybody for is serious about financial succe$$.

Summary: My God, What a bunch of nonsense
Review: She claims that money is alive and has almost human qualities. Is she nuts? My goodness this is bad news for the cash I have stuffed in the cookie jar and my savings in the bank. Both places lack air and if I believe Suze my money will have no choice but to die. Are mutual funds and stocks alive too, and if so, when will they take over the market. What about CDs Can they think too? Maybe I should get one as a pet.

Summary: Excellent, Excellent, Excellent
Review: At first, I wasn't sure. I don't have credit card debt, and I am not about to give up movies and eating out. However, I agree about ridding yourself of clutter, even in your mind. That one I will definitely have to remember!! The last half on IRA's and annunities is worth the price of the book.

Summary: Reworking of previous books and TV appearances.
Review: I agree with the reader from Phoenix, AZ. Orman's previous books had more meat with the potatoes. This book is mostly potatoes. Read her previous books and watch her on TV. She is very knowledgable and there is info in this book also, but, I felt I had read it and heard it before. Of course, if you like potatoes...

Summary: OPEN YOUR EYES & OPEN YOU LIFE TO ABUNDANCE!
Review: I have read 3 of the authors books and I really thought that this latest book took real life maters into great consideration. You have to be open to looking at your life and wanting to improve where you are at. If it's not important to you or your nor open to it... This will just go right over your head. Anyone who teaches quick money is not going to be a millionaire. You eat an elephant one bit at a time.

Summary: Common sense is not always common knowledge
Review: A nice sequel to Suze Orman's first two books, yes some is repeated, and yes it is a lot of common sense, but common sense is not always common knowledge. I liked the way that Suze taies in the right mental attitude about financial success. Overlooked by many other authors. I have to admit, at first I was taken back by Suze Orman, my wife is one of her biggest supporters and has constantly pestered me to read her books which I NOW HAVE. I also highy suggest three other financial books; The Millionaire Next Door, More Wealth without Rsk and Financial Self Defense..

Summary: Kinda corny
Review: I was let down by this installment. It's nothing more than an overview of common sense.

Summary: the courage to be cowardly
Review: Hey! You think we're kidding when we say "love of money is the root of all evil"? If money is the compensation for and valuing of honest toil or invention--as it ought to be--then the love of money is the confounding of the valuing with the thing valued, a perversity, the root of all evil, the stinking rot in our culture. What does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul? It does not profit a man. It does not become a woman. Strive to be a human being, not an avaricious robot.
