Review: When I got a new job in the local water deliver company, I was almost an absolute beginner in water hydraulics. At the same time, I studied polytechnic and hydraulics was one of the subjects. Because of that, I selected hydraulics as the subject of my final work at the faculty. By browsing the Internet I came across to the Heastad website and purchased this book. This book helped me to learn a lot of water hydraulics and successfully pass my final exam. My everyday work cannot be imagined without help of this book. Right now I am following directions from this book to build a large model of our water delivery system. This book is a masterpiece that introduces the reader in water delivery systems, leads him through numerous experiences and hidden solutions of problems that appear in such systems. Most of all, it simply describes the complex problem of creating, optimising, maintaining and using the model which highly represents the behaviour of the real water delivery system. Searching for other books is a time waste ... take advantage of this excellent book.

Review: The book entitled Advanced Water Distribution System Modeling and Management certainly is the most interesting books from literature about water distribution systems. The new volume presents some of the most important and advanced topics from specialized scientific literature as the multi-objective optimization and the hydraulic transients. I have used this book as reference guide of my scientific tasks. However, I recommend it both practical engineering and academic engineering.
