Summary: Take Cook's strategies with a grain of salt.
Review: I read this book and was pretty unimpressed. The majority of the time I felt like I was reading a large pamphlet for is seminars and online website. I think he even included his 1-800 number at least half a dozen times within the text (If you have any more questions just call 1-800... and we can set you up with some more information).
Secondly, before reading anything by him do a quick web-search on a popular search engine for "Wade Cook", and just read some of the websites. The first one that comes up is him home page that states that his company has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. I bring these points up because with a book like this, where you are following someone's investment advice, you have to check the person's credentials and see if they really know what they are talking about -- in my opinion his credentials don't check out.
Lastly, as it says, I gave these book 2 stars, simply because some of the information is useful such as his explanation of options and different types of stock that you can trade. But his writing style is too casual and he doesn't explain the put/call options all that well, he just starts going into the strategy and how to use them, but if you don't know how they work -- you are going to get burned, and burned bad. If you do want to read this book, do pay him for it - go to a library. There are plenty of other stock market books on amazon.com that are worth your $20+. If you do read this book, take in all the information about the way trading works, but don't listen to any of his strategy advice.

Summary: Another powerful book by Wade
Review: After buying WSMM#1, I wasn't sure if I needed this one. There is some duplication but there is also much added information.Selling puts, in particular, is a very powerful, cash generating technique. Buying puts, while not new added a new dimension to my investments. More information on covered calls and the chapter on tandem plays
was outstanding. I recommend that you read WSMM#1 first and then move on to this one. WSMM#4 is all about options and another must read. Keep writing Wade and we'll keep on making money.

Summary: No Hype--22% one day return! No kidding!
Review: After reading the piece in Wall Street Money Machine#2 about buying on news, I followed that advice and bought PALM and Providian on news and upgrades and earned 22% and 17.57% respectively, one day returns.Before reading WSMM@2, I was clueless about how to play the market.The individual that suggested that results here are "hyped" doesn't know what he is talking about. Probably a "buy and hold", "dollar cost averager" or "dripper investor" and can't relate to 20% per month, let alone 20% a day.Thank you Wade.

Summary: 67% return in 1 day! Thanks Wade
Review: After reading WSMM#2-Stock Market Miracles, I made my first options play on LU. Bought calls for .75 and sold for $1.25 in the same day for a 67% return. I did this based on Wade's "Dead Cat Bounce" theory and news on LU. I particularly liked the chapters on exit strategies, fundamentals and optimum options.My 67% return may be shy of the 127% rate of return that Wade gets in his brokerage account, but what the heck, I'm new. Wait untill I get some experience.Great Book. A must read.

Summary: Great book for beginning investors!
Review: And a great sequel to Wall Street Money Machine Vol I. If you have little experience in the stock market, this book will open your eyes to profitable strategies like selling puts, tandem plays, combining selling calls and buying puts and buying calls and selling puts and much more. There is heavy advertising for his seminars and other material, but so what? Wade Cook is very good, but don't make him your only source of financial advice.

Summary: Disregard reviewer--17th of Sept aka Mendenhall
Review: Aside from having his facts wrong about Wade Cook and WSMM Vol. 2, this reviewer also seems to be suffering from an identity crisis. He used to post as Mendenhall now it's 17th of Sept and he uses other handles too. In any event, his comments are without basis. But then again, what would you expect from someone who can't even remember his/her own name?

Summary: Demystified option trading for me
Review: Before buying this great book by the great Wade Cook, I knew nothing about trading, the stock market and thought options was a choice on which stock to buy. WADE COOK helped demystify the whole darn thing for me. Trading became easy, fun and very profitable. Even without knowing what I was doing completely, I was able to make 200%-1000% annualized returns. This book is different than Wall Street Money Machine VOL 1. It covers trading much more completely. Another winner from Wade.

Summary: Demystified stock trading for me - an ez read
Review: Being recently divorced, I was interested in a way to create extra income and considered stock market investing but was totally clueless. Wade Cook writes in such a easy to comprehend style. I now completely understand options, stock splits and most importantly, exit strategies, stop losses and limit orders.I also enjoy listening to the free cd included with this book.I can't recommend Wall Street Money Machine #2 enough for everyone, especially recently divorcees who need a way to generate extra income.

Review: First of all, thank you to Melvin from Pa for offering the updated information on how to contact Wade and for a great review.
Secondly, Wall Street Money Machine VOL 2 is a great book. I have been following these strategies through August and made some nice gains. In particular, using the tandem plays has been very effective for me.
My only complaint is that toll free number that is listed in the book. CAUTION: This is an old number and is no longer a link to Wade Cook's company. Instead, it is a link to one of Wade's competitor's and based on a brief conversation that I had, one that needs to be avoided.
And Melvin, I contacted my local bookstore and they h ave Wade's newest book in stock and I am on my way now to pick it up. Thanks for recommending it!

Summary: Even more miraculous strategies from Wade
Review: First, let me say that I completely disagree with the reader from Monterey, CA abd seriously doubt if he really bought this book. He says that Wade talks only about buying calls and puts. NOT TRUE! Wade goes into detail on covered calls, naked puts, naked calls, short selling, selling straddes and protective puts.And this book is all about WHEN to sell. In fact my favorite chapter is the chapter titled; "Knowing when to sell."In this book, Wade says and I quote: "You get cash flow rich by selling---get better at getting out than at getting in."I recommend that this reader from Monterey, CA actually buy the book first and read it and then write another more accurate review.Wall Street Money Machine#2-Stock Market Miracles is a must read for all serious investors. The cd (included free with the book) helpstie together all the strategies. I play mine in my car in place of listening to the negative junk on the radio.
