Review: Dr. Ivan Delman's "The Business of Chiropractic: How to Prosper After Startup" is a must have for any DC from the new graduate to the established doctor looking to expand or to simply run their practice more efficiently. I've found this book to be a great resource and wealth of information and strongly recommend it to others especially if you are a new graduate who feels as if their chiropractic institution did not adequately prepare you for the business world. Summary: The best advice straight from the greater trochanter
Review: I experienced Dr. Delman's knowledge and skill in chiropractic and practice management as a patient many years before following in his footsteps. When I saw that he had written a guide book for the rest of us, I was thrilled. I own both the first and second editions. Dr. Delman explains the "how-to's" of a successful practice in a concise, understandable and enjoyable format. This is a must for any DC at any stage!

Summary: Perfect resource for Chiropractors
Review: I found the marketing techniques excellent in this book. It gave me ideas on how to get new patients and how to keep my practice filled with abundance and prosperity. For the the Part 4 Boards I highly recommend:

The questions are right on the mark for the type that were encountered on the exam. For being successful in practice get Delman's book. For passing the board get the last two study guides. Both well worth the investment.

Review: I often shake my head in disbelief to think of how many of my fellow chiropractors shell out thousands of dollars in practice management seminars when a book such as this exists for a fraction of the cost of a seminar, and in truth, is better. Ivan Delman has managed to take universal truths of business success and apply it to chiropractic in a simple but powerful way. Passion, wisdom, humor, and compassion are the hallmarks of his writing style that walks you through important steps in creating the practice of your dreams. Just as in chiropractic we tell our patients to please try chiropractic first before doing expensive, needless surgery, I suggest that D.C.'s read this gem of a book first before attending an expensive seminar. You won't be sorry.

Summary: a Great business guide for any business!!!
Review: I'm just getting started in developing my practice. I found that, as I read Dr. Delman's book, I had to grab a notebook and start writing down all the ideas that his observations inspired! I've never run my own business before and, it seems to me, this is solid advise for any kind of small business. The fact that it is aimed at chiropractors makes it all the better! Great tips on start-up, goals, organization, focus and practice building!
