Summary: A great public speaker!
Review: After reading Joes great book, I invited him to speak at one of our college business and marketing classes. His 1 hour speech literally blew the students away.He was so good, we invited him back to speak on a regular basis. Many of the students don't realize because they get a degree, they still have to know how to generate business. The question and answer session was very lively. I suggest anyone in any type of business read this book. I personally feel this book should be mandatory reading for all business classes. Good Job Joe.
P.S. If you need a public speaker at one of your fuctions, this is the guy to invite.

Summary: The Ultimate Telesales Book!
Review: This book is just packed with great questions to ask people regarding objections. If you're from the old school of selling where you slam people, this book will eat you alive. Joe's techniques qualify people right up front, no chit chat [stuff]. You're either dealing with a player or not. A great book!

Summary: Qualify
Review: Catal's book opened my eyes to a new way of closing fast,hard, intelligently. I've seen Joe in action - 1995, when he was VP of sales for my company, Rosebud Advertising Productions. Rosebud produces telephone "on-hold" CD programs ... I wasn't prepared for the guerilla tactics he researched and applied in the field, and launched my 2nd bedroom company to an office of 10 motivated employees and after 3 short years, over a million in sales. I've seen a handful of people who actually get s#(+ done...and Joe Catal is one of them. This is one book you've gotta have...

Summary: Blew me away!
Review: This book is a brutal reality of what it's like to be a top rep on the phone. I can see why only 20% of the phone reps make all the money. There's so much cutesy nice crap out there that just doesn't work. Being in sales means being money hungry and agressive. This is definetly the best book I've read on phone sales. Joes main concept is simple. Ask good questions, and get them to reach into their pocket and give you the money!
This book isn't for the squeamish. I love this guys style and techniques. You're either a top producer or your not. If I had only one book to read on phone sales, I'd want this one. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Summary: I COULDN'T PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!
Review: Finally, a book from a salesperson, to a salesperson. It's obvious this guy's been in the trenches. The book claims to have hundreds of tips and stragies, it has more like a thousand! This isn't about doing mail outs or advertising, it's about picking up the phone and making a dead cold call to the decision maker. I've read a lot of books on sales and marketing, but this one takes the cake. I'm ordering several copies, and making this book mandatory reading for my sales reps, and also my managers.
If you want to know what top phone reps are doing, this book will tell you. Good job joe.

Summary: THE REAL DEAL!!!!!!
Review: After being a bond salesman selling tax-free bonds over the phone for more than a decade I can honestly say that this is the best sales book I have ever read. Joe does not miss a thing!! If you sell on the phone for a living you will notice immediately that this is not just some fluffy nonsense. This guy has pounded the phone and it shows.

Before you spend any money on another lead list or motivational tape, BUY THIS BOOK!!! This is the Holy Grail of phone sales. You WILL make more money applying his concepts.

Review: If you have a product or service you can close in 1-3 calls, this book's for you. I'm an investment broker who has to make cold calls for a living. Joe's book is page after page of selling techniques and strategies that anyone can use. It's obvious he's been in the "Trenches" many years. You won't find any fluff and theory in this book. It's tells it how it really is out there. The best I've ever read on the subject. Buy it, you won't be dissappointed.

Review: "Outstanding!" This book is for anyone who has a product or service that can be closed in 1-3 calls. It covers everything you need to know, from getting past the gatekeeper to reloading.
I've been personally using Joe's techniques for the past 5 years and can tell you they work! I'm a single parent raising 3 children and putting one through college.
