Rating: ![0 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-0-0.gif) Summary: The eighth edition is available. Review: The 8th edition of Multinational Business Finance came out about September 1, 1997, replacing the 7th edition. Substantive changes include greater coverage of differences in financial goals, corporate governance, and global takeover defenses; incorporation of portfolio theory into the treatment of cost of capital; expanded coverage of sourcing equity abroad; revised explanation of capital budgeting, including a new example; expansion of working capital into two chapters, one on moving funds and the other on managing the level of working capital balances; and many new cases. Supplemental information is available from the book's web site: http://hepg.awl.com/eiteman/mbf8/The authors welcome any comments.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Good, yet not good enough. Review: This book gives plenty of background into international finance. Unfortunately, it has some big flaws, in my opinion. First, there are not enough calculation examples. Second, there are too few questions at the end of each chapter. In addition, you must go to the author's website for the solution. Once you get there, you will be surprised to find out that the author has only solved maybe two out of eight problems. That's annoying. I do not recommend this book. Take a class from another professor who uses a different text book.
