Summary: Really is MRI in Practice verses Theory
Review: I have been a MRI tech. for the past 12 years and have seen a lot of changes. This book is excellent for the "advanced" MRI tech and for the new MRI technologist looking for easy-to-understand explainations on how/why things work the way they do in the MRI field. I highly recommend this book to techs and referring physicians alike- a definite must-have for any technologist that wants to understand MRI, instead of just being a button-pusher.

Summary: Great tool for the MRI Registry
Review: I primarily used this book when studying for my MRI Registry. It covers all aspects of MRI from the basic phsyics to advanced cardiac and vascular imaging. Very informative and easy to read and understand.

It also has great graphics and pictures to reinforce the material being taught.

Summary: Best book on MRI physics that I have read
Review: I purchased a couple of MRI books and none made much sense to me until I read this book. The concepts of MRI physics is complex and hard to understand no matter what book you buy, but this book made it much easier to understand. It is clearly written in a logical format. I recommend the book highly.

Summary: explores all aspects of MR Imaging
Review: I read this book as preparation to become an MR Tech. I have re-read it, since I have become an MR Tech., to prepare for the registry. I find it very technical in some places. It could use more examples pertaining to every day life, instead of "quantum physics". It is however a good reference book to have in the department.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: This is a great book for people who do not have a physics background. It's very useful in describing the basics of MRI as well as applications. It's one of my favorites. Everybody in grad school kept borrowing it from me!!

Summary: Best review book available
Review: This is a great text to study for the registry. I passed my first time studying only this text. It's very well written and easy (relative term in MRI) to understand. Also, get Meacham's Question/Answer book to accompany this book and you'll be set.
