Summary: the best real estate books i've read!!!!!
Review: Bill Barnett puts a lot of tips into this book, such as how to present multiple offers, how to sell via an online auction, and also goes into tax credits, and other tips that make it a worthwhile read. It is in a very easy and interesting style. Good Job Bill!!!

Summary: Dumb and Nervy as well.
Review: Essentially the book is a rehash of the old creative financing techniques touted by the real estate gurus of the 1980's. And where are they now?

With the exception of some updated techniques for the Internet, the approach is the same: 1. Find people with money. 2. Find sellers who want to dump their trashy properties, then put the two together.

Since it always takes money to make money the whole scheme is dependant on your being able to find "money people".

If there is any value in the book it is that it is a much cheaper way to get this type of info than having to buy the high priced infomerical stuff.

True, there will be a few who will make their fortunes by buying fixer uppers at a discount but most copies of this book will end up with all the other "real estate riches" type books - selling for a buck or two at the used book stores.

Summary: You'd be dumb not to read this book
Review: Excellent book. Easy reading. Packed with powerful advice. You would be dumb not to read it and even dumber not to use it.

Outstanding for novice and experienced RE investors alike.

Summary: Thank you, Bill
Review: for this wonderful book. It is written in a light and entertaining way, I didn't want to put it down until I was through. Each chapter contains valuable warnings about pitfalls from the school of hard knocks which are also repeated at the end of each chapter for easy review. There are many great concepts about real estate investing out of which I particularly like the ABC offer strategy and the lockbox idea. To launch your career in this exciting business, the book concludes in a 120 getting started plan with lots of hands-on assignments.

Summary: A great read AND a great roadmap to wealth
Review: Have no illusions about this book -- Bill Barnett delivers on his promise! We tend to make life more complicated than necessary! Bill strips away all the fluff and gets to the point on what works in the real estate investing business. This book is
truly a manual to get you on the road to wealth.

Summary: Good real estate book
Review: I am a RE Broker. This is the most simplistic book ever written on the subject of RE.. Promise me that you will buy "Secure Your Financial Future Investing in Real Estate" by Martin Stone. You will be far better off!!! "Secure..." is written by two brokers rather than these hype type, think and grow rich folks. I always say there is more money in practicing what they pupport to know so why are they writing books rather than doing it? The Martin Stone book is written by guys who have done it and are still doing it. The book is a gift from them to you- buy it.

Summary: Good real estate book
Review: I believe that this book is a great companion to Robert Allen's Nothing Down. The fact that Allen wrote the forward should tell you how Allen feels about this book.

Are You Dumb Enough To Be Rich is updated for the times and offers fresh material. I like the fact that the author offers information on tax liens and discounted mortgages as well.

Are You Dumb Enough To Be Rich is a great book. You would be dumb not to buy it and use it. Great book. Highly recommended.

Summary: Not fair!
Review: I have an average income, but, like many people, I have a burning desire to be more wealthy, so as to raise my social status above those around me. Books like this one seem designed for the purpose of informing people specifically how they could achieve this. However, although I'm no Einstein, it seems that this particular book's exclusionist nature may well leave me out. People like myself may only constitute a small market segment, but aren't we worth considering too? Why should I be excluded from the exciting wealth and investment opportunities referred to in this book? Perhaps the author would be wealthier from sales of their book if they had thought about this earlier.
