Rating: Summary: Step By Step Masterpiece Review: Mark and Renee Yarnell may be the most successful network marketing husband and wife team ever. They are on the faculty of the nation's only college certified course in network marketing at the University Of Illinois, Chicago. Mark and Renee have created a $70 million dollar network marketing organization that spans 20 countries. In this fantastic literary gem the authors map out exactly what is necessary for network marketing success. Some of the steps may seem enormous upon first take, but when one realizes that human nature makes people do the bare minimum, one can see why Mark and Renee demand so much. Quite simply, if you read this book over and over until you actually understand it, and act on the principles and actions suggested, you will succeed. And you will help many people succeed in the process. Thanks Mark and Renee, I'll see the two of you again at my book signing soon.

Rating: Summary: Read this book first before you become an MLM'er. Review: Most books talk about "how to" on MLM. The best part of this book is it talks about real life failures in MLM, mistakes made as well as the successes. I have always been a believer in learning from others mistakes. This book does that. A must read for all first timers as well as those still trying to figure out why they haven't been successful yet. Wish I would have had it 7 years ago. For you old timers you'll laugh and cry as you read some of the stories.
Rating: Summary: Must Read for New Networkers Review: My network marketing business was beginning to stagnate. I did not have a working plan on how to breathe life back into it. After reading this book I now have the knowledge and tools necessary to build something great. The book not only told me that I could succeed, it told me how to succeed. This is a must read for all new Network Marketers.
Rating: Summary: Read this book BEFORE you start your networking career Review: My sister loaned me this book when I told her that I was starting a new business and would be selling my products by network marketing. The book does a great job in answering all the common fears and downfalls that can happen to anyone in network marketing. For example, I myself don't like the dreaded word, "NO, I don't want to buy your products." It really helped me to understand that networking is a numbers game and it is nothing personal. It gives stories about people and their successes and sometimes the failures they had before they reached their goals. Basically, if you are going to make it in network marketing you need to understand the business and don't quit! Read this book and learn from the years of experience that the Yarnell's share with their readers, you will be glad you did. Don't start your networking career without reading this book first. I know that if I didn't I probably would have quit by now. Don't give up and go for it! Good Luck!!
Rating: Summary: A Must Read FIRST!!! Review: Oh, how I wish I had read this book four years ago, instead of this year. I still cringe when I think of all the mistakes I made and the hurt feelings that I had that first year. Now I recommend this book as a first thing to read when people join my business. It gives them a very realistic view of the blessings as well as the work that is involved in networking. MLM is not a free-ride; BUT, if you hang in there what a ride it will be!!
Rating: Summary: College Network Marketing Review: Taught me the importance of perseverence in Network Marketing and that no one should be prejudged. The best part is a heart warming story about a housekeeper. Great for beginners.
Rating: Summary: This book was not what I expected. Review: The book was not what I expected. It details the harsh reality of MLM in a very negative manner. It is good that they are honest but this book made me doubt whether or not to bother going into MLM. I wanted a book that was down to earth and realistic but one that gave me a complete background to the MLM structure and the various stages of the business. This book in my opinion did not excite me or get me pumped up for this type of opportunity. One of the theories that I disagree with is that they mentioned that product knowledge is not that important and to focus more on the recruiting of people. I believe that the product is what excites people. The more you can excite people through their belief and passion over the product, the company structure and it's philosophy the more you are able to draw people in. It is product movement that should come first and I believe focusing on the product and sharing the benefits of that product is the priority. Sometimes the mere mention of "business opportunity" can turn people off. There is a real psychology behind this business and marketing. Luckily I found the perfect book if you want to do this business, are a little afraid and need good background in a down to earth manner without scaring you away. The name of the book is Success in Multi-Level Marketing by Gini Graham Scott. I love it and can not put it down. I hope to have this done before I attend my first product/opportunity meeting!!
Rating: Summary: Essential reading before beginning in MLM Review: The first year of MLM (I know from 6 months of experience) is one of great potential and great obstacles. Mr Yarnell describes from experience how to survive and prosper. Add it to your upline's advice, and you're way ahead.
Rating: Summary: The Network Marketing Bible Review: The reason many people fail at Network Marketing is actually very simple. It's a twofold problem. Number one, they have not received an adequate education in the subject matter from a qualified mentor, and number two, they don't follow what is taught to them. Mark goes over all of the potential pitfalls that you will come across in your fist year of Network Marketing. Whether it's rejection from friends and family, time traps managing your downline, problems maintaining enthusiasm, the Scatter Bomb(distractions that keep you from staying focused), problems that arise during meetings, and finally recruiting and training your own people (instead of having someone else doing it for you). This book is the next best thing to having Mark Yarnell sponsor you! If you're new to this business, this book is a must. - Steve...
