Summary: Good book for aspiring business people
Review: If you aspire to start your own business or are already in one, you will find a wealth of information in this excellent book by Tyson.

Even experienced business people will find an idea or two.

Rating: 0 stars
Summary: Fun to read, it will maximize your chances for success!
Review: My book writing has focused on personal finance. I always wanted to write a book about how to start and run a small business since it is such a great way to carve out a career you love. And, if you're fortunate and hard-working, you can build wealth too. More wealth has been created through entrepreneurial endeavors than through real estate or the stock market.

While I've successfully started and operated several small businesses and done much financial counseling work with small business owners, I sought a coauthor on this book who had tons of in the trenches, practical small business experience to draw upon.

Jim Schell is a four-time winner in the entrepreneurial world, a grizzled veteran and a down-to-earth, candid teacher.

I hope you have as much enjoyment reading this book and in your small business pursuits as we did in writing the book and in our small businesses.

Summary: All the basics, minus one!
Review: This is a wonderful book of basic business start-up info. The only thing missing was a section or chapter on how to effectively distinguish yourself and your business from the growing community of entrepreneurs. I combined the info in "dummies" with Marion Gold's "Personal Publicity Planner: How to Market YOU." Now that's a winning combination for small business owners with few dollars to spend on advertising and promotion.
