Summary: Getting it Right
Review: A must-read for anyone looking to fine-tune their skills for "getting it right". An excellent, succintly written, no-nonsense quick-read guide for tips to help anyone whether it be in their career or personal life.

Easily absorbed and great real-life tidbits bring the info home. I enjoyed this very much.

Summary: The Six Fundamentals of Success
Review: Mr. Levine greatly, yet succinctly, expands on a business theme that I have held dear for many years: A highly regarded company only hires and promotes SWANS: People who are Smart, Hard working, Ambitious and... NICE. This book offers very practical, well-supported, entertaining methodologies that "stick". It can help optimize an individual's ability to manage their career, get recognition, grow and sustain their organization while enjoying the process. The overall message is anything but "business schoolish". As an executive search consultant with nearly thirty years of experience, I think this should be required reading for all levels of management-it can make a clear difference in one's focus and ongoing success.

I found it to be well organized , easy to digest and most of all - TO THE POINT ! No beating around the bush with jargon and myths, just to heart of todays business matters for the busy exe.

I have happily passed along to my staff and the feed back has been very positive.

Summary: Entrepreneurs' Manual for Success
Review: Levine's fundamentals is an excellent guide for both new and seasoned entrepreneurs. The jargon-free languages are written from the heart and derived from years of real-world experiences as a businessman and a board member. For those entrepreneurs who are looking for a first-class board member, this book is the next best thing.

"Communicate Up and Down, Inside and Out" and "Gain Perspective" are the two favorite chapters of mine. It resonates with me how to lead a company in good times and bad. If you put some actions behind advice like "Get Comfortable with Not Knowing" and "Setbacks make us stronger" will go a long way in helping you become a good leader.

"Be discreet" are one of the most important rules I found when dealing with very senior executives like Chairmen and CEOs. Levine articules to readers how to handle confidences with care, which, in today's business environment, becomes a critical factor of setting one apart as an ethical leader.

Summary: Fabulous content - practical and values-based
Review: Six Fundamentals of Success strikes a resonant chord with those seeking to build successful lives and careers by doing what works and what is right. I think the book is an extraordinary primer for anyone at any level who seeks to learn or review relevant fundamentals applicable to success.

The author organized the material in short and approachable chapters grouped within his six fundamental ideas for success such as "Communicate Up and Down, Inside and Out", "How to Deliver Results" and "Conduct Yourself and Your Business With Integrity". The advice is presented in a distilled, straight-forward and upbeat manner that keeps up the pace and allows the reader to grasp these these prime concepts quickly.

I am buying this book for other people including co-workers, friends and my sons because I feel strongly about the value of the information presented as well as the value in keeping the message focused on the fundamentals. I think everyone will gain new and renew familiar concepts by reading The Six Fundamentals of Success. Had I been handed this book twenty years ago I think I would have read and re-read it many times over as I built my career. The ageless advice within can serve as a compass to anyone seeking to get ahead by doing the right things and it is particularly relevant in today's environment that demands results, integrity, relationships, rock-solid communication and teamwork.

Summary: A MUST READ TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS
Review: This book is just what the Dr. ordered. Stuart's thoughts/insights, and how he made them seem so clear and concise was truly "genius". I am recommending that my senior management team read this book ASAP. I know that it will provide immediate value to our company.

Summary: Make Sure You Get it!
Review: I have now read this book three times. I have found that many of the fundamentals apply to life outside of the workplace as well (my wife, who is not in business, loved it). I have distributed the book to my employees and they have found it helpful in understanding how to "do the right thing." In this era of corporate scandal, I am glad that there are people like Mr. Levine who are seeking to change the widespread mistrust of corporate America. Ultimately, it must come from the top down and be built into a company's culture, but I think if people within an organization followed these simple rules, there might be more upward pressure on top management. This might go a long way in restoring the public's belief in American business.

We can only hope, right?
