Summary: Share Your Thoughts Share The Knowledge
Review: Tim Sanders has written a very concise business primer on how to share and transmit information. At page 91 of his book, Mr. Sanders writes "Too many people internalize their new information, turning it into private wisdom that cools in their intellectual cellar. Their wisdon gains no distribution." Those words lie at the heart of this book which book focuses on propelling information outward to others. With today's technology, sharing information is fast, low cost and lays the foundation for good business and good personal relations with others. This book and its common sense themes for sharing and transmitting information have been well thought through.

Review: [...]. This book is bad. It is badly written, and it has no substance. Mr. Sanders basically takes 200 plus pages to wax on and on about how everyone in the business world loves him, how he is chipper on airplanes while those around him are downtrodden, and how he is such a nice guy. His "advice" consists of telling his readers to be nice as well, and to ... get this: readbooks. Yup, Sanders seems to think all you need to know to succeed in business is how to get yourself to a bookstore, find the section on business books and start reading. If this is not obvious enough, he spends page after page telling you how and where to read and how to take notes. [...].

Summary: Great book & Pure Sanders!
Review: Started working with Tim Sanders during his Broadcast.com days and through the acquisition of Broadcast.com by Yahoo! I witnessed him getting "jiggy" and viewed him as someone who was remarkably effective at finding and creating new business. Now, even as an outsider, I know his secrets from an insider perspective! This book is exactly what I saw him doing. As a result, I am giving the book to everyone in my company. Love the Killer App is a great read for anyone working in technology sales, alliances, venture capital or any industry where networks are a critical tool. The actions Sanders describes (often in detail) work! About 5 years ago I was chartered to create relationships for my company with the crème of the software industry, companies like Siebel, i2, Ariba, Vignette, BroadVision. It was pretty competitive and I used a number of these types of methods that reaped tremendous rewards! The pages are not short on little tips that have big impact. However, focusing on little helpful hints and "devices" may lead you to miss the big point,..be generous with your knowledge and your network while being compassionate with your colleagues, not only because it energizes you during your life's work but because in the new economy this is the way to succeed. On a final note, Amazon user's will find 1/3 of this book's hypothesis no surprise..read books!

Summary: Everyone Should Read This Book---NOW!!
Review: When I first started working, I thought that the only way to succeed was to be a cutthroat. I looked at the guys near me and thought, there's only so much space at the top and the only way to get there is to be as tough as possible. Then I'd go home and get down on myself for being the kind of person who nobody likes at work--including me. But this book teaches you that the best way to get ahead isn't to be a barricuda. It's to be a nice, smart person. If you share what the author calls your "intangable" values (your knowledge, your network, and your compassion) you are most likely to reach success. This book isn't some pie-in-the-sky new-age romantic dream, however; Tim Sanders truly shows you in a clear step-by-step fashion how to use your intangible values to win friends and business at the same time. If every one read this book, the world would be a much better place to work in. So please, buy this book, read it, recommend it to friends, or, as Tim Sanders says, "spread the weed."

Summary: The Lovecat Way!
Review: Lovecats. That is what Tim Sanders tells us we need to be in order to be successful in today's world. Sanders, Chief Solutions Officer at Yahoo!, takes his message on the road as he consults with executives at top corporations on marketing and Internet strategy. "Love is the Killer App," is a thesis on networking. Sanders stresses that the way to win friends and influence people is to give them value first. He advises to share your intangibles - your compassion and your knowledge with people with whom you want to do business. This is being a Lovecat. Sanders goes on to illustrate the importance of learning as much as possible so that you have something of value to share. His formula for this is to read books - all the time! And, while reading, outline the book and understand the key points or "Big Statement" the author intended to make. Then, when you meet someone, find out what interests them and what challenges they face, and share what you have learned that would be relevant for them. Through this little book, Sanders shares his own key to success - Nice guys rule!

Summary: Fast read, helpful book with good insights...
Review: I heard Tim Sanders speak recently at a young leaders conference in Atlanta and it was on this very idea ("Love is the Killer App"). So while I was already introduced to the general idea of the book, it was more helpful for me in reading it because I had heard this guy speak and had seen his audacious personality! Let me just say this: everything you read in the book is truly lived out in Tim, the man. I'm not a Business major, but I am a Communication major in college right now and this book gave great insights to not just good-business models and principles but good social-people skills as well. I wish he had talked more in the book about the scarcity mentality (in which he spoke on -- along with talking about the content in this book) because that for me, was the most interesting thing in this whole "Love is the killer app" approach. Despite this, the book is solid and is good for not just the Business folk but for every person who would call themselves a human being. I'm an aspiring 21-year-old lovecat myself, and Tim is an encouraging role model for me and for the future of American leaders and followers! Thanks Tim!

Summary: I'm Late In The Game But I Think It Still Plays
Review: I just read this book and have to say it is one of the most powerful business books I've read. I like Sanders' down-to-earth style. It isn't full of biz jargon-ese but filled with great stories and honest observations. Sanders has nailed a dis-ease many have had with the corporate world and provides a solid strategy for advancing one's career in the midst of change.
I believe networking more than ever, is the key to success. Loyalty to companies is gone. Loyalty to your Rolodex is everything. Building win-win relationships is everything. I applaud Sanders for his ideas because what he's done is given the average cubicle dweller a reason for getting up each morning. When you realize that it is up to you to develop your own powerful base of knowledge, networks and compassionate connections - you feel in control. Good news for anyone who wonders about the future of their company. This book focuses on the future of "them!"

Review: I'm agree with him about the compassion. Don't hope that you'd get something back after you help someone. This can relieve your stress. I also found a number of good books that he suggesses the readers to read.
This is a short book. Good for someone who wants to practice reading(like me).

Summary: Common Sense - Pearls of Wisdom
Review: Love is the Killer App is a quick read with some valuable pearls. The common-sense nature of the material confirms what many people believe deep in their hearts but struggle to fully live out in their business lives. Even in business, love conquers all.
I found the section on how to read a book and share its knowledge a particularly good review. The ideas Sanders shares and reiterates will help anyone to better execute on their existing knowledge base.
