Summary: Dr Moini's book is the most helpful for getting certified!
Review: I have found this book to be the clearest and most easily understandable work on the subject of certification prep for the CMA/RMA tests. He has made it possible to be ready for the tests with just one book - this one!!!!! Buy this and save your money - before Dr. Moini's book, you would have had to buy 10 or so different ones to cover everything that is on the tests.

Summary: The Best CMA Review Book Ever
Review: I have had the priviledge to not only meet Dr. Moini but to have had him as a teacher as well. He has been, by far, the best teacher I've ever had. After reviewing his book, it did not surprise me how thorough and well organized it was. He made reviewing for the certification exam extremly easy. It also helped me refresh my memory on key subjects that I would need to know in order to pass the exam with flying colors. Dr. Moini is a brilliant author and a wonderful teacher. He always has time for all of his students and has a kind of passion for teaching that I have never seen before in a teacher. I am very greatful for all that he has done for me as a student. His book is excellant which does not surprise me. I feel very confident in taking the exam because of this book. It has been the best investment for my career as a Certified Medical Assistant. I could never have achieved as much if it wasn't for Dr. Moini. He makes learning fun and easy and he uses terms that can be easily interpreted and understood. He really cares for people and goes out of his way to teach and educate everyone he can. He is the most intelligent teacher I have ever had and he has such a strong desire to pass on his knowledge to all who hope to gain it. I would highly recommend this book to any of you who are unsure about passing the certification exam. Trust me, from one student to another, it will be the best thing you can do for your future career as a Certified Medical Assistant. We love you Dr. Moini. Summary: Highly recommended
Review: I purchased this book in March of 2003 to study for National Boards on the July 28th test of this year. This is the only book I used for study and review. I also found errors in the written text and in the included CD ROM. It just made me more aware and diligent in my studies. I was actually quite pleased that I was retaining the information enough that as soon as I saw the mistake, a red flag popped right up. I was extremely nervous about the boards. I don't test well and averaged low B's to C's in the medical assisting course. I recently received my test results and I scored a 93 on the National Board Exam. I highly recommend this book.

Summary: I have found mistakes
Review: I recently purchased the Medical Assisting Review book by Dr. Moini. I am scheduled to take the test in January 2004, and I have just started to review for the test. I have found the book a good review; however, I have found 2 mistakes on the CD-ROM so far and I am just into the second chapter. I want to make people aware that if an answer doesn't look right, don't assume that the CD knows better than you.

Summary: To all medical assistants - this one's the best!!
Review: I suggest this book as the one you should buy if you're gonna take one of the tests for being an M.A. It reads smoothly - the info is easy to absorb - and you can move right into the test questions and see how you're doing. Its format will get you into shape for either test because it focuses on the most important things you need to know in order to work as an M.A.

Review: I used this book to prepare for the CMA exam and scored a 90% This is the best book ever. This book is an incredable tool it summerizes all 3 areas of the CMA exam. Dr. Moini, he has done a fantastic job covering all aspects in preparing for the exam. I personally appreciate the knowledge he shares to help us become more productive and knowledgable in our job field. Using this book, it took a lot of stress out of studying for the CMA exam.I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to prepare for the CMA or RMA exam. Thank You!!! Summary: I don't know what the others are talking about!!
Review: Let me start off by saying I am not bitter because I failed the RMA exam, because I didn't, I passed, but no thanks to this book. Maybe it was good for the CMA, but not the RMA! When I got home from the test I high-lighted the questions that were on the exam, there were only 25 out of the 750 practice questions in the book that showed up on the test. I don't want to be spoon fed, but 25 out of 750 is not a good ratio. I am an MA Instructor and I would not reccomend this book to my students, sorry.
