Summary: Excellent original ideas
Review: I have folllowed the markets for years. A friend of mine recommended I purchase this book. I am skeptical of system trading. I was intrigued by the credentials of the authors. These did not appear to be people who needed the money. Rather it was apparent that they truly wanted to share their creativity and reearch. Having read the book 2 times and the second half of the book 2 more times, my conclusion is correct. This book is a value and a significant contribution to the writings of how markets behave and how to use indicators to trade successfully. I recommend this book to serious traders and investors.

Summary: Practical and worth every penny!!
Review: My friend who is a successful trader recommended this book. I was skeptical at 1st but reading the first few pages I realized the authors knew what they were writing. The methods for trading described in the book were easy to learn and have paid for themselves thousands of times over. trading has now become sport for me and a profitable one to boot!! I can't recommend this book too much. It's great!!

Summary: This book can make me profitable.
Review: I develop trading systems and have found many rich trading ideas described in the various chapters. I do not trade options often and elected to skim over the 1st half of the book. The back half has ideas for intraday trading as well as longer term trading. Al though the author does not serve these important ideas on a platter to a trader emphasizing thir relevance to successful trading, almost all discussions are packed with menajngful information and trading ideas that I can apply and test easily.
Bottom line: if you are looking for a black/whir turn-key systmeatic approach to trading, this book does not go that far. However, what this book does provide is a plethora of risch, new trading ideas that will definitely improve timing of trades.

Summary: beyond any doubt the best trading book ever
Review: I struggled with the previous two DeMark books but once I mastered the methodology and applied the techniques real time, I quickly realized their value. This time DeMark senior has collaborated with his son and compiled a more easily understood presentation of their work. The subject matter has captivated me to the point that I have been unable to put the book down --I have a voracious need to complete the reading and re-read it over again just to make certain I had not missed any morsel of thought. I've traded the markets over 30 years as a professional and as a hobby and never before have I experienced such a compelling need to read, experiment, and apply such information. What a thorough delight. The questions I had after reading the first two DeMark books were answered in this book and a multitude of fresh new ideas were presented as well in a succinct and thorough manner. What a pleasure to see some of the market's mysteries exposed and confusion clarified before my very eyes. I recommend this book highly for any serious trader or any one who wants sound trading concepts as the core of one's trading philosphy. The techniques applied to options were one of a kind and appear to have much merit. The many other new ideas are enough to preoccupy my time for months to come.

Summary: These are excellent trading ideas
Review: I am a trader on the Chicago Exchange. I have also conducted commodity and stock trading schools. The ideas I have acquired from both the DeMarks are the curriculum of my classes. Originally, before being introduced to the DeMark methodolgy I relied upon the same trading techniques as all other traders. What convinced me to try the Demark techniques was the fact that someone told me that DeMark was the originator of a few of the all time trading favorite oscillators such as RSI. I wanted to know why he abandoned this indicator. It now makes sense to me--he has developed more accurate and sensitive trading tools that are more responsive to the rhythm of the market. They are indeed more valuable and help me and my students in trading.

Summary: Possibly the greatest book on actively trading options
Review: This book, which is prefaced and praised by Lawrence G. McMillan, who is himself quite an authority on options, is neither an introduction to options, nor is it a technical guide or text covering the topic. An introduction would not offer advanced indicators and concepts, which this book does, and a technical guide could not be read by a person who hasn't any previous knowledge of options, but this book can. The first chapters of this book are for the reader who has never heard of an option before. Then the book moves to subject matter that is useful to all readers, and it finally ends with advanced methodology which is in easily understood, non-technical terms, and is available for the savvy option trader and the novice, who by simply reading this book has become just one notch down from the savvy investor. I would highly recommend this book to both the absolute novice who has nothing more than an interest to learn about options, and also to the reader who is well-seasoned in options (day)trading. The book may not be 100% turnkey, but the techniques discussed in the book are easily applied, and have much value.

Summary: Pleasntly surprised for two reasons
Review: I wrote reviews today on the other two sites that had DeMark books for sale. I did not know this book was available. I told my trading partner about this discovery and he admonsihed me that this book has been available for a few years and that the book was even bette than the authors' two previous ones if for no otherreason is that the author's son helped iun simplifying the presntation. My trading partner told me to assign a 5 star rating and to recommend it highly. I am doing that now.

Summary: I have read this book 2 times
Review: Often I have trouble assimilating ideas expressed by others. I must read and re-read the text and take notes before I would ever think of applying a trading technique. Although this book is somewhat complex and some sections interested me more than others, I was able to understand and apply some very successful trading ideas. This book was great.

Summary: I actually made money!!
Review: I have been in the investment business for clsoe to 20 years. Since I head up a trading desk for a large institution, i try to learn as much as possible about new methods for trading. Never did I expect to buy a book that would actually teach me to trade better and more profitably. Boy oh boy, was I pleasantly surprised to learn that some things in life are essentialy free--given the minimal cost of this book. The adage that one gets what one pays for is not applicable here since I received information that produces rewards, both financial and personal, far exceeding the cost of the book. I recommend this book to beginners as well as professionals.

Summary: I have already made money trading!!
Review: I have been duped into buying many get rich scheme books. Coneuqently, I am skeptical. I spoke to my broker who has a Blomberg machine for quotes and he recommended that I follow an indicator he receives called TD SEQUENTIAL. I agreed and made quite a sum of money. Then I asked for specifics and he was unable to supply it other than the creator's name and this book--really 3 books. I bought this one first since it is the most recent. I have now mastered TD Sequential and am trading--profitiably, if I may say so myself!!! I am actually thinking of becoming a broker myself.
