Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Excellent Book! Review: This is an EXCELLENT BOOK! The essence of this book says that working a standard 9-5 job is not going to make you rich, you need more than one source of income to get to make it! This supports ideas I realized years ago. I like Allen's writing style the book is engaging and he not only gives you ideas but he hands you the information, including numbers, websites to go to and even recommends other books to read. I will continue to read more of his books. The hardest part about implementing any of the information in this book is making you mind up to do it!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: GREAT BOOK; makes you think outside the box Review: This was a great book! Very enjoyable read. It makes you think outside the box and the opportunities that are out there. It shows you how to select an area of your life and how you can generate an extra stream of income. It doesn't go into that many details but it's a great book because it introduces you to opportunities that you may not have noticed before!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Huge profits with Allen's Investment Strategies Review: I bought MSOI back in 2000 right when we were smack in the Clinton Stock Market Meltdown...perfect timing. With much ambiquity, I began to try some of Allens ideas. To wit over the last three years I have averaged over 24% per year and have certaintly done a lot better than my friends who listened to their brokers and as a result are now "broker." My only wish is that I had been more aggressive with Allen's investment strategies. Who knows I may have averaged 50%-100% per year. Great book Robert. By the way I also recommend Creating Wealth & Nothing Down 2 of Robert Allens books that I only recently purchased and will be reviewing when I finish them. Thank you Robert.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Scattershot Review: Multiple is right. He glosses over almost any type of "investment" you could think of. I have "investment" in quotations because some are dubious. Network marketing is one of his subjests that comes to mind. Any time someone throws this many subjects for "investment" at you, you wonder just how much is going to be covered and just how much knowledge the author really has in each particular area. Allen is mainly known for real estate investing. So you wonder if he really intimately knows about all the subjects covered or just did a little research on the internet or at the library and wrote a few pages about each(which by-the-by is all you get on most topics.)

I have owned rental real-estate for over ten years, and let me tell you, it is a lot of work! I only own four units, but I had eight at one time. He makes is sound so easy - well, it isn't. That is not to say it has not been a good investment - but just be aware that it is work - and there is no such thing as no money down if you do not have a good job and great credit. Let's be real. Also, the foreclosure market - be sure you have at least $80,000 in cash - because that is what it takes to buy a foreclosure from an auction - CASH! I did follow Mr. Allens advice from Creating Wealth about investing in graded rare coins - and I lost thousands of $$! Come on people - if he makes so much money from his own investments, why does he need to sell books and seminars?? Real wealth building takes discipline, lots of saving and hard work - I would stay away from this book if you want build wealth.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Thank you Robert Review: Multiple Streams of Income was like a heaven sent to me. After the recent Clinton recession and bear market, I lost all of my assets and my job. I also lost my home and was close to losing my family and dignity as well. MSOI gave me a fresh start, to become my own boss. To buy another home for a fraction of what my old home cost me years ago and to regain my self esteem. I no longer drive that road my my house to a J-O-B. Now my commute is from my bedroom to my office a few feet away. I have more time to spend with my family and share the ideas that Mr. Allen has shared with me with others. Thank you Mr. Allen. May the Lord Bless You.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Insightful and Revealing Review: Robert Allen culminates his vast experience and expertise in a variety of entrepreneurial areas to bring a book to the market that is both enlightening and a joy to read. Typical Allen, his book covers real estate transactions and opportunities in-depth; but beyond that, he delves into network marketing, options, and other areas that pique the reader's interest. Years ago I read "Nothing Down," and "Creating Wealth," and fell in love with the way he presented investment techniques. Allen is deceptively easy to read, but his ideas are loaded with gold. The concept of creating multiple sources of income, outside a "Just Over Broke" job, is fascinating. For example, how much income would it take from various small businesses and investments to replace your current job income? Using this question as a basis, I started looking for small, affordable opportunities to replace my job income. I'm not there yet, but believe I am on the right track. Allen's current book rejuvenated my drive to continue the quest, not so much towards great wealth, but simply a chance to quit my day job and secure a financial future outside the vanishing Social Security illusion. Read this book if you share my dream.
