So much information, so many diverse ways to make money. The naysayers are probably college graduates who would prefer to sit behind a desk for 40 years and say; "Yes master" ENT!For the entrepeneurs and business leaders, this book is a must read. You can start with network marketing, create income and enjoy the same tax benefits that bg busineeses enjoy. You can use Bob Allens Real Estate strategies and still make money in the real estate market. People who say it's over, better read this book. You can also safely invest in the stock market with Index Funds and/or covered calls with the Cooper Method. Or you can enjoy 100% risk reduced returns in the options market.Bob Allen has written a excellent book, probably his best. Don't knock it, try it.I also recommend Wall Street Money Machine for even more covered calls and option strategies and Wealth 101.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Good book, good ideas Review: This is NOT a get rich quick book. It is a book of ideas and principles that people can use to create wealth. Ranging from conservative (compound interest and reducing spending), to reliable (real estate), to new-age (internet income), to more questionable sources (network marketing or MLM), he covers all the bases, and he covers them fairly well. Here is a summary of what I liked and did not like:Pros: Great job of explaining different opportunities and their potential for income. He teaches the important principles in a way that got me thinking about a different approach to money-making. As a direct result of reading this book, I added 3 small but steadily increasing "streams" of income. Cons: He does not adequately describe any risks associated with certain investments or opportunities (tax leins, etc). Also, its pretty easy to say "you can make vast amounts of money from infopreneuring and intellectual property", but its very difficult to actually create an idea that people will pay you money for. I basically skimmed over the MLM chapter. I've read a few of the 1-star reviews here, and I think they missed the point. He is not trying convince people that once they buy the book, bags of money will drop at the doorstep and end all money troubles. He is simply showing several different ways to add streams of income to your life. I think he did a good job.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Outstanding book Mr. Allen--CARPE DIEM (SIEZE THE DAY) Review: Not since Charles Givens outstanding work--More Wealth Without Risk has an author put together the best workable strategies in a financial hardback. Multiple Streams of Income is the best no nonsense book on how to create wealth in the 200's and going forward. You will find hard hitting advice on business, internet, stock market, mutual funds, real estate and more. Want to start your own business but have very little cash? Read Robert Allens advice on network marketing. Want to buy real estate or even discounted mortgages with little or no money down? Read multiple streams of income. I bough this book along with The One Minute Millionaire so in my mind they belong together. The latter develops the mental side. The former will give you the wealth strategies. For financial strategies, I recommend More Wealth Without Risk by Charles Givens.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Be prepared to spend a lot of money if you buy this book Review: This book is really the first step in a series up "up-sells" that Allen and his organization will attempt. There is some good stuff but you won't find enough of it in the book to actually accomplish anything. That's on purpose. They want you to feel compelled to purchase some more material...and on and on it goes until you're a few THOUSAND dollars into the "system." Even then it's small small percentage who find any kind of success.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: "Multiple Streams" a New Classic for 2000 and Beyond Review: Robert Allen's book opened my eyes to so many new ways to make money that I'd never considered before. It's easy-to-read, but still a mind-expanding experience. No, I didn't do the real estate thing when his books "Nothing Down" and "Creating Wealth" were on the bestseller lists a few years ago. I could kick myself now. This time Allen has shared tons of excellent ideas on how to REALLY make money on the Internet, info-prenuering, tax lien certificates and a smorgasbord of other strategies that I absolutely know I can do. Even me! Hey, I love my job, but Robert Allen's book, "Multiple Streams of Income" convinced me that I still need to create more income for my future. I will prosper greatly by applying his strategies and so will you.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Absolutely A-Maz-ing Book on building wealth! Review: Sure there are a lot of books out there on how to build wealth, but how many really work? And how many are written by people who have already done it? A common problem today is a overabundance of really lousy books, many from the self publishing sect and are written by people who have no real business or investing experience. They only write about it and most of what they write is theory, not fact. It has never been tested (especially by the authors) Robert Allen has been around for over 25 years now. He has millions of successful students and is himself successful. I was talking to a guy in a bookstore earlier today who told me that by following Robert Allen's advice, he was able to replace all of the money he lost by following JBQ's advice in Making The Most of Your Money and/or by following advice from brokers. who are usually broker than you are. Disregard the 1 star reviewer (s). They (he) is a sorry sort who is a paid basher, that is how he earns money supplemented by sending out spam and ocasionally selling a self published book or two, although never offering a refund or even a response via letter to a very unhappy customer. What a pathetic existence! If you want success, go with people who are already succesful, like Robert Allen.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Another Classic "Get Rich Scam" Review: After reading this book, the only conclusion I came up with is that we "Hard Working, Middle Class Americans will almost always be fooled by Author like this Capitalizing on our ignorance of these quick money making scams, this book those nothing but to draw the average reader into his other "Get Rich Scams". Their is no solid information here as to how to go about it properly step by step sound financial advise, however some reviewer here indicate that at least it should be taking as ideas, but even then, the bottom line always will remains shallow. America will always fall short of these predators, Keep in mind that this author (Scammer) those not have any proven track record of making, building or helping in creating wealth for anyone that you know of other than DREAMS of becoming rich. By this time, we should have learned our lessons from past experiences with people like Robert Allen. Invest the price of this book on a nice dinner for your significant other, He/she will love that investment.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Crapatola Review: Universal life insurance, rare coins, network marketing? If these are what this huckster considers investments, count me as one of the non believers. No one should consider these as worthy investments. This guys background is real estate ( and a dubious one at that if you look at his criminal background.) Just how much can he know about investing in these other areas. Best investment advice? Dont waste your money on this one.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Peppie LePew Review: Come back my dahling! Oh whats that? You are not runnng from me? You are running from the smell of this book and its cult-like followers and how they are handling these reviews? I see. Well go ahead then, because the stench of this one even turns this skunks head.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: disappointing Review: Greatly disappointing. Advising average people to invest in options is a joke. If professionals with Ivy League MBA's can't do it without losing their shirt sometimes, what makes Robert Allen think average people can do it. He quotes Buffett and says we should learn from him, but then he advises to do the very things that Buffett says not to: options, short term trading, etc. Mr. Allen also repulsed me with his arrogance. He brags about how much money he has made and how much he gets from his businesses. He also advises a networking plan that strongly resembles pyramiding. I think that this book doesn't have any real value outside the first couple chapters that talk about personal finance.
