Summary: Up Your Business a commitment not an interest
Review: We are all interested in increasing the bottom line, with this book Dave Anderson has provided a clear and concise way to get it done. This book should be mandatory reading for all members of management, it will put everyone on notice of the commitment required and leave no doubt that MERIT not longivity is the key to success. Tough decisions must be made and if after reading this book you don't think you can make them it may be time to move into a less intense position.

Review: You won't find a lot of theory or hand-holding about how to get your business moving in Up Your Business. What you will find is industrial-strength real-world advice on how to turnaround your venture from the ground up. Dave Anderson knocks it right out the park with his sensible, honest no bs approach on how to pull the plug on your dire situation. Forget about theory and read on...you will not be sorry. Anderson's down and dirty approach tells it like it is--how to fire, hire, ramp up your people and then shoot for the stars. Buy every copy you can and hide them from your competition. Anderson advises how to protect your new thriving organization in his 'How to Overcome the Six Temptations of Successful Organizations' chapter. If you read one book this year you'll be on your way to increasing revenue and profitability but only if you read 'Up Your Business' by Dave Anderson.
