Summary: Tax Guy
Review: ...1. Contrary to the title, there are few loopholes of the rich. In fact, I keep waiting to find the good content, all to no avail. There is little there that was worthwhile. It does howver, have lots of fluff and good marketing behind it.

2. Even more serious are the mistakes. I am not just talking about types, but major legal mistakes. For example, they cite taking a $5,000 death benefit on a tax-free basis. Sadly, this benefit was eliminated from the Internal Revenue Code by Congress roughly 5 years BEFORE the book was published. There are several other major mistakes like this one as well.

Save your money, I have read many financial and tax books. This one is one of the worst that I have ever had the displeasure of reading....

Summary: mandatory for anyone who works for themselves
Review: 7 months ago, i graduated from college. two months ago, i was presented a business proposal. i was inches away from rejecting it, so i could find a "career" working for someone else. but thanks to this book, i am focusing on working for myself.

this book goes beyond common sense. i think i have great common sense, but this book is about strategy, which you don't learn from the public school system, your parents, even most of your college courses.

there are very detailed, interactive plans layed out in the book. there are financial sheets you can fill out to find where you are today, and where you want to be in the future. there are a list of questions to ask potential advisors. each chapter even summarizes itself, so if you're skeptical, scan the summaries at your local book store before you buy.

if you work part-time as an avon lady, you need this book. if you work in multi-level marketing, or opened a coffee shop, you need this book. this book is for anyone who spend at least 4-6 hours a week developing "self-employed" income.

Summary: Finally.....a CPA with a proactive tax planning approach!
Review: After reading "Loopholes of the Rich," I now believe there is more I can do to limit my overall tax liability. I kept constantly hearing the only thing to do was donate more to charity and that didn't make sense to me, and was completely reactionary to my situation. It was an easy solution for my CPA, but not for me, I needed more help.

It is apparent that Diane has a desire to research (which is very obvious based on the book) tax law, keep up to date with the constant changes, and take a proactive approach to doing what is best for the client.

I bought this book for my CPA and would recommend it to anyone who is fed up with paying too much money in taxes and who has a CPA whom does not have a proactive approach to tax planning and does not keep up with the changing tax laws. I loved this book and tell everyone about it. It was the best [$$] I have ever spent!

Summary: Get an editor, Diane!
Review: Although the book has great content, the concepts are not presented in a way that "flow" naturally, and the typographical errors are extremely annoying. I found myself re-reading paragraphs to get the full meaning of what Diane was trying to say, and a few times I just gave up. This gripe especially applies to diagrams within the book: you have to really study the diagram and read and re-read the text that applies to the diagram before you finally get it. If this book had a good editor behind it I would rate it 5 stars.

Review: apparently you don't know what MLM is.
a good MLM company requires following elements:

1. excellent and unique products that people would buy over and over
2. a good business structure.

what you are talking about, is a "pyramid scheme".
what's the difference, you ask.
with a pyramid scheme, you do the marketing, you do the shipping, you do the money, like Amway.
you have to ship the stuffs to your customers' doors even if it's a 5-dollar lip stick.
a true MLM company takes care of shipping and money handling, you just share the products with people.
so MLM CAN work, if the company has excellent products.
the reason 95% people fail is because they find company that sells phone card, kitchen wares, shampoo, etc.
of course it'd fail, cause you can get those stuffs in costco!
i urge you to take a look at my website.
feel free to criticize me, as it'll allow you to understand and allow me to learn more.

Summary: LoopHoles of the Rich
Review: As a tax attorney, I find this book to be a great help to my clients. This book does an excellent job of educating the adverage person on how to run a business and to legally take advantage of the Internal Revenue Code. When you are limited to only a few hours of counseling time per client, it really helps to know that you can offer some additional education to your clients on how to structure their corporations and/or business entity. I recommend this book to anyone who is considering going into business for themselves.

Summary: Rated a "Top Ten Book" by Homeschool.com.
Review: Diane Kennedy's book is one of Homeschool.com's Top Ten Business Books. For the homeschooling community, creating and running a home-based business is an excellent way to teach children early business skills, and allows families to have a parent at home to homeschool while also adding to the family finances. This book provides critical tax strategies for anyone who owns or who would like to start a business. It also helps the reader make intelligent decisions about the structure of their business.

After reading this book, I shared with my personal CPA an important deduction that I learned about in Diane's book. At first, she said that the deduction was not allowed. Then she researched it and found out it was right....this saved me quite a bit of money! My CPA was very impressed with this book. She now keeps a copy of the book in her office.

Summary: IF YOU WANT TO PAY LESS TAX, THEN READ LOOPHOLES!
Review: Diane Kennedy's Loopholes of the Rich changed my entire outlook and thinking on both taxes and my financial future. After reading Loopholes I attended one of her seminars and was totally amazed on how much she knows about taxes. Not only does she tell you about the loopholes, she also shows you how to use her strategies. Her numerous examples and diagrams throughout the book helped me understand what I need to do differently to pay less tax. THANKS DIANE!
