Summary: One Word--Ancient
Review: The whole books is about a Bankruptcy that occurred in 1992. The last time I checked it is 2003. Alot has changed in the last 12 years. Banks dont conduct themselves the same as they did then.I know I am in litigation with FUSA and BK1 over missreporting information. Save your money. everything in this book can be found in 30 minutes and a search engine on the Internet. I think the majority of people out their who have credit problems know to pay their accounts on time. I dont need a whole chapter to tell me this. just my thought

Summary: Grrrr.....
Review: If you're a woman who likes to think on your own, then Snyder's gonna insult you. He makes a big show of being the head of the family and how his wife has to go along with it. Plus, add in the Born-again factor, and I'm out. Good thing you can resell these online.

Summary: I wish I had read the reviews
Review: Had I read the reviews, all of them, I would have noticed the part about church and God. I want to return this book forthwith!!
The nerve to actually preach and advise large contributions is just not right!!!!

Summary: Try what he says before you judge the book
Review: This book is an example of a process which must be experienced to be appreciated. It's not enough to read the book -- you have to take the excellent advice and put it into practice, e.g. by hiring an attorney to challenge credit report items and get them expunged.

Better still, attend one of Stephen's seminars, which are free and ought to cost several hundred in all fairness. This text will definitely teach you how to rebuild your credit and buy property very quickly (e.g. 1-2 years) after bankruptcy.

TRY IT!

Summary: Saved my Life !!!
Review: This book gave me HOPE back. It is simple, to the point, and literly a God send. All I can say is, that it WORKS!
Getting on your feet again is almost impossible until you have the right perspective, this book gives you that, and so much more.
The steps you take will get you into even better shape than you were before bankruptcy. I know, I did it.
Remember it's a simple step by step plan, but works like you had a dozen lawyers. HONEST !!!!!

Summary: Misleading title, repetitive text
Review: If it were possible to award 0 stars to this book, I would. This book is helpful to those filing/who have filed Chapter 7 ONLY! That could have been easily stated in the title but wasn't, presumably to sell more books to people like me who filed Chapter 13 and couldn't tell this book wouldn't help me just by reading the description. Very misleading. Mr. Snyder also favors Chapter 7 over 13, saying basically that you don't win any brownie points for filing 13 and making payments to your creditors. Maybe not. But for me, going that route made me feel as though I maintained a little bit of my dignity and self-respect. I got myself into my mess and if I can't pay back all of what I owe, I can at least pay back a little. His solution is to pay back creditors "on your own terms." Well, if I had been able to do that without the help of a Trustee, I wouldn't have had to file for bankruptcy in the first place! Mr. Snyder also contradicts himself several times. For example, first he says that he doesn't recommend paying cash for everything, then later he says that's a great thing to do. Oh, and do you know that he learned to trust his wife's intuition about situations and people? I do because he mentioned it over and over again. ... Mr. Snyder just comes off as extremely arrogant throughout the book. Ultimately, this book did not help me at all and I returned it. As I stated initially, had it been made clear that it was written specifically for those in Chapter 7 and NOT 13, I never would have wasted my time to begin with. Don't waste your time or, more importantly, your money.

Summary: For getting access to credit again, there's no better book
Review: Stephen and Michelle do an excellent job of walking you through the steps you need to take to gain access to all the credit you desire, after bankruptcy. This book lives up to its name. If you're looking to buy things on credit again, even with a bankruptcy, you can, and the Snyders walk you through the process, one step at a time. Just make sure you're not looking to get caught in the debt cycle again out of fear of not having "enough" or you'll wind up as one of the many folks who are becoming repeat bankruptcy filers.
