Review: Jeff Gitomer is first rate and this book is too. This is one of the three sales books I recommend to salespeople of all types, along with Guerrilla Selling and No Lie: Truth Is The Ultimate Sales Tool.

Review: Jeffrey Gitomer has put together the most impactful resource on sales there is in the world. This book is filled with practical, real world easily transferred concepts. But the book and read it, study it and earn with it!

Summary: Best sales book I've every read!
Review: Ok, it's the only one I've read, but it is still great. I just started my own software company and this book has taught me TONS to be able to go out there and start selling it. I really enjoy his writing style too.

Summary: The best all-purpose selling book out there!
Review: Simply put, this book should be required reading for any person just starting out in sales - or anyone who is a veteran and not getting the results they want. If you're a fan of "sales words" and trickery, you won't find it here. If, on the other hand, you want to learn a sales process that works, read this book. Simply the best.

Summary: Some good ideas, but repeated and repeated and repeated
Review: Some good ideas to get you think about approaching sales with your own style. I agree with a previous reviewer that the book seems to be a collection of previous articles that he thinks he taylored for the book, but the ideas get very repetitive. "Listen, communicate, power questions, follow-up, etc" are stressed in almost every chapter.

Chances are I would not buy anything from him (I borrowed this book from a friend); he seemed too much of the full-of-himself salesman that is untrustworthy and that you can hear and smell a mile away. And ironically, his selling techniques given in the book violate the list of characteristics of the New Breed of Salesman he describes in chapter 10.

If you can't increase you skill sets and wallet size with this book then look for another career.

Summary: UNBELIEVEABLE!!!
Review: The Sales Bible gets right to the very essence of what sales is all about, relationships.The book provides insights for the beginner as well as the veteran salesperson. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about going into sales or those who are currently selling. I found instant success by following some of the cold-call techniques listed in the Sales Bible.
