Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Educational and Entertaining
Review: I enjoyed this book very much. It can serve as a nice Sales intro or skill booster, as well as a motivational tool. Its organized in a manner that makes it easy to pick it up for just a few minutes, like between sales calls, or for hours at a time.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent resource for just getting started
Review: I found this book to be very motivational and it gave practical tips for initiating, maintaining, and closing a sales call. The suggestions are easy to follow and implement. This is a perfect book for someone starting out in sales. For those who are more seasoned in sales, I would highly recommend the new book by Todd Bermont called "Cognitive Selling: Proven Fundamentals & Techniques of the World's Most Effective Salespeople."

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Want it sooner that later? Read the Book!!!
Review: I got this book on my Birthday and I have to say happy birthday to me. This is the definitive sales text. Others might have their favorite books about different genres of selling but when its time to put a text book on the desk of a new class of salesman, this better be the book! It will shorten the learning curve and soften the hard road and focus you on the criteria and techniques, used by Mr. Gitomer, to become one of the best
and to help you elevate your game. It's a must read for anyone who sells and wants success! God Bless you all!

Summary: Gitomer Rocks - and so does "The Sales Bible"
Review: I had a opportunity recently to hear (and see) Jeffrey Gitomer at a sales meeting - wow! I've never seen anything like it.
Not only does he know his stuff, he's willing to share it with you.
The Sales Bible is like having Jeffrey sitting on your shoulder, prodding you to do better, serve your customers better, sell more.
This is the most valuable tool any sales person can have - own it, read it, and bank it!

Summary: The Sales Bible: Is Exactly What the Name Implies
Review: I have been a sales professional for well over 15 years. I have one of the most comprehensive libraries on Sales that you'll ever see. If you told me that I had to get rid of every book in my library and that I could only keep one. This would be the one that I'd keep. Why? Because this book is really the only sales book that you will ever need. The whole book is dedicated to the fundamentals of sales. I have always stressed to my sales team the fundamentals of sales. I think one of the major reasons for failure in this profession is that newcomers overlook the fundamentals or they simply are not taught the fundamentals. The Sales Bible is nothing but the fundamentals. Even if you are a seasoned sales professional, I would still recommend this book to you, especially if you are not doing as well as you like. It may be because you are not using the fundamentals. This book will bring you back to the fundamentals. It such a great book that I am going to buy a copy for everyone on my sales team.

Summary: Great Book
Review: I have been doing sales for over twenty years and have read many books on the subject. I would have to say this has to be one of the best books I have read.

The author has spent a great deal of time on each aspect of selling and it has provided me with a vast amount of helpful information.

Whether you are a veteran of selling or starting out new then this is the book you need to help.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: If you could read only one book on sales...this is it!
Review: I highly recommend this book. All Gitomer's books are a no nonsense, no B.S. view of "the real world" of sales. If you follow Jeffrey's advice, you will not be able to help but succeed!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: ALL OTHER SALE BOOKS A WASTE OF MONEY
Review: I just entered into the muti-level business. Sales I knew
nothing about. I began reading sales material after sales material to learn completely nothing. I came across the
Sales Bible, that was the blessing I had been looking for. I
have plenty of sale books if anyone want them. THE SALES
BIBLE IS THE BOOK.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Better than the sum of it's parts
Review: I originally read and clipped Gitomer's columns out of the Business Journal and faxed Jeff for his suppliments to each column. I got the Sales Bible to make it easier to introduce clients and employees to Gitomer's methods instead of my photocopies of clippings.

The book turned out to be much better than a collection of columns because it has flow and structure. We have also found that we can pick and choose specific pages to illustrate training lessons.

When Jeff was giving a seminar sponsored by Xerox near by, we brought several employees and it was worth all the effort because he made the pages come alive

Summary: Not too bad, but not a 5 star title
Review: I purchased this book after reading suggestions from other readers. After reading it, I have a hard time understanding why many people gave this book 4-5 stars. Granted, there were some good ideas in the book and the writing style was engaging at at times. However, there was a large portion of the book that focused on the need for positive attitude in a sales career and the means by which to ensure that such good attitude is maintained. IMHO if you have not realized the importance of a positive attitude, ability to handle regection, and the importance of a sense of humor in your sales career from your own experience, then you have been asleep at the wheel. I did find some good ideas from the first 1/2 of the book, but the remainder was pretty sad. For the first time sales person (such as myself) I got a heck of a lot more out of the Accidental Salesperson.
