Summary: Rehabing for dumbies
Review: This book is One of the most powerful tools you will ever need.It is straight forword and doesn't leave out anything. It covers alot of important issues on zoning, contracting, handyman and agents. For those of us with poor credit and don't think you can get a project financed, this book explains how to find the money you need with less than perfect credit. It is well worth the money.

Review: This book may have some useful information, but I think your money is well spent elsewhere. This one reads terribly. It'll put you to sleep. Don't buy unless you like to be bored to death.

Summary: Buy It, Fix it, Sell It
Review: This book was by far the best of the books I've read, but it leaves me asking for more: - to the fix, and sell theory; also since this was written in '97 I believe ( since it was published in '98) things have changed, the tax situation, the real estate market itself among other things. I cannot find any other books that have been written more recently - and no others written by Mr. Myers at all. Where else to go for an analysis???

Review: This is a fantastic book for those who want to learn the basics of rehabbing properties. Filled with lots of practical tips and information, Mr. Myers' work also gives you his method of success for rehabbing. What a great book! This is real estate investment for the ninetys and beyond, incorporating the best techniques of the past. If you want to learn the basics -- and, more importantly, not just learn information, but also learn a method -- this book is a must.

Summary: More than just a great intro to Rehab Investing
Review: This is the first and only, so far, book that I've read on rehab investing and I thought it was awesome. The author comes across as sincere, knowledgeable, and passionate about this field. He wasn't trying to sell anything other than a great education in smart investing. No fluff, real stuff.

Review: This is the first book I've bought solely on the praise of other reviewers. It is also the first book I have ever returned in the four years I've been buying from Amazon. Wow! What a complete disappointment!Buy it, Fix it, Sell it: Profit! should only be bought by people who have never read ANYTHING regarding buying houses, fixing them up, and selling for profit. I read the free e-book from David Whisant while waiting for this book to arrive...The e-book contained more information and went more in-depth into the topics than this book did. I have never written a completely negative review before, so here goes: this book is well written and laid out. Having said that, I think that ten minutes spent at google will provide you with a couple of good sites that give more information than this book does.
