Rating: Summary: Excellent Primer Review: Mr. Myers does a terrific job of getting you started. The only thing I'm left wanting is a second book...where he goes into greater depth on each subject. Nonetheless, a very worthwhile investment in your time and money.

Rating: Summary: Well written and informative Review: Myers book on rehabbing is one of the best books written on the subject. He uses a practical approach that is easy to follow and also provides lots of examples. The author obviously speaks from his own experiences.Steve Berges' book on Flipping Properties also has lots of great info on rehabbing. I highly recommend both books!

Rating: Summary: good but basic Review: The author hits on many salient points- but often in a glossed over manner. A good and easy read but needs more meat on the bones to be called a classic in its field.
Rating: Summary: Kevin Myers provides realism, not fantasy. Review: The book provides a realistic view of rehab investing. Unlike Wade Cook, who provides only an overly-simplistic, rosy scenario, Kevin Myers tells it like it is, with all the warts and potential obstacles for which the investor should be prepared. Wade Cook makes it sound too easy, but Myers lets us know it's really hard work.
Rating: Summary: Great for beginners Review: This book is a great tool for beginners, but if you have had some experience or read other books about real estate, you might not get much from it.
Rating: Summary: New in the Business Review: This book is an absolute must for those who are new to this business. I live in South Africa - and altought most of the referrals are to the US - the principals stayed the same and can be used effectively in the Property Business. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to start a rehab business.
Rating: Summary: written for the 4th grade drop out Review: This book is for somebody who barely knows what a house is. Very over-simplified, e.g.: get a house that's run down, then fix it up and sell it for more than you paid for it. No duh! Written in very simplistic terms. Then again, I just read the first few pages.
