Review: This is one of the Best Works in DOE I have come across apart from the book Statistics for Experimenters by Box, Hunter and Hunter

Review: This is the best book for beginners to DOE, students and for future reference.

Chapters 12 and 13 are useful for people interested on Gauge R&R studies (variance components models) and for those that have to understand and apply ISO/IEC 5725 standards at the laboratory.

A lot of references are listed at the end of the book.

Review: This text was used in a graduate course on the Design of Experiments. It has a great wealth of examples that span many different fields of industry, from pharmaceuticals to "tool and die" manufacturing. This text, when used along with a statistical software package, made research projects easy to design, implement, analyze and present to others. I found the chapters on reliability, determining sample size for mixed models (random and fixed variables), very helpful in my research.
